Sarah Palin says she is seriously considering a run for the White House, and she believes she could beat President Obama in 2012, the former Alaska governor told ABC News' Barbara Walters. "I'm looking at the lay of the land now, and ... trying to figure that out, if it's a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it's a good thing," Palin said in an interview scheduled to air in full Dec. 9 on ABC as part of Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People" of 2010.

I guess doing a movie called “Bedtime for Bonzo” would probably stop you from being President, too.

“Why do you Palin supporters seem to believe that those of us who don’t support a Palin candidacy are opposed to her running? By all means, if Sarah Palin wants to run then more power to her!”

Yup and if she wins the GOP primary, of course I will support her against Obama.

Hey ya know why The Baby Jesus wasn’t born in Arkansas?

God couldn’t find three wise men and a virgin there! :)

If Sarah goes up against Clinton, it will mean one of two things happened, either Obama decided not to run in 2012, or Hillary beat Obama in a dog fight.

If Hillary took on Obama and won, it would have been a bloody battle! Meaning the Liberal black`s would never go out and vote for her in the general.

Lets also remember that Hillary is a tramp that supports infanticide at every level, she really shares all Obama`s values, really nothing between them as far as I can see.

My money`s on Sarah over Hillary or Obama

I keep hearing Palin’s “negative numbers” are too high. Please be more specific. To wit: Spell out her ngatives and provide a source or sources from which these alleged negatives came from.

Have you ever had a conversation with Gov. Palin—or even gotten close enough to her to smell her perfume? I think not.

Are you a libertarian or Romney-bot any chance?

“If you add the swing to the Right of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania, we are talking 5 states that have about 20 electoral votes each.”

In giving her only six extra states I am being very conservative. She could easily take New Mexico (where her endorsee won the governorship) as well as NH (where Kelly Ayotte won easily and where taxes are the big issue (and very unpopular).

The point is that Obama has a very difficult path to reelection against Palin. To say she would lose is just propaganda. It is the latest Establishment talking point. In a word, It is a provable falsehood.

Let it go. Bristol has moved on with her live. This is counter productive. We have all made mistakes. Lifes a dance, you learn as you go.

Honestly I don’t think Hillary will run again Obama. If he does not run (possible but unlikely) then yeah...she’ll jump in with both feet and the nomination is hers. She would possibly be a tougher opponent than Obama.

There were quite a few, a whole lot in fact, but it wouldn’t be appropriate for us to start guessing at names. They will surface again as the primary advances, and most of them are currently maintaining an anti-Palin posting posture as they wait for Romney, or someone like him.

I said in 2008 Palin could have made Michigan interesting if only McCain let her campaign here like she wanted. He threw in the towel.

It’s not like Bristol Palin was the first unmarried 17 year old girl to get pregnant.

wow...how unforgiving of you. Bristol has already admitted she didn't make a good choice and is now out there talking to other young girls about not falling for the same thing she did.

Not much more she could do now.....unless of course, you'd rather she'd have had an abortion and hid it from everyone so she could maintain a squeaky clean image.

It's very difficult for a 16 year old to go through this. She's doing the right things now. I guess that will never be good enough for someone that has lived a mistake free life, though.

"It would suprise me if Sarah didn’t announce in Jan. right after her show ends."

That seems reasonable if not likely.

I think Bolton’s running for VP and is probably at the very top of Sarah’s list.
