I think Brandy (57 judges points) got paired with Bristol(53 judges points) because Jennifer (60 judges points) was ranked 1st and Kyle (58 judges points) was ranked second by the judges. The judges score had Brandy ranked 3rd and Bristol 4th so they were the last two standing. The fan vote probably had Kyle and Bristol at the top with Jennifer 3rd and Brandy 4th. If Brandy had had more fan votes, the judges rankings would have held up.

I’m not sure Bristol is the worst dancer. I only watch her, so, I can’t compare. So, yeah, I’m only watching to see Bristol advance. I think she’s had to work harder than the others because she never danced before, and, should be commended on several of her performances and improvement.

Oh no, the liberals can’t stand this. She is Sarah Palin’s daughter and has to go. Who says so?

I’m so sick of this stuff and the attacks on her family. God, I hope she runs for president and wins. And, let me add this - if it’s God’s will for Sarah to be president, then nothing will stop it. Yeah, I believe in God’s will and the fact that He states that he intervenes in the affairs of man. He also says that he is the one who sets up kings and brings them down.

Based on this, I believe that zero was elected so that people would wake up out of their lethargic stupor.

JMO, of course.

I can see you watching to see her on the show.  You're interested in her because of who she is, and I can see you enjoying her peformance on that basis.  I've got no problem with that.  More power to you.  One of the dances she performed this last Monday night was quite good.

So, yeah, I’m only watching to see Bristol advance. I think she’s had to work harder than the others because she never danced before, and, should be commended on several of her performances and improvement.

My wife and I both agree she has vastly improved over the length of the season.  So had other people on the show.  The basketball player (can't remember his name) had improved considerably by the point he left the show.  He was getting much higher marks than Bristol at that point in the program, and could have been expected to continue on that track.  That was four or five weeks ago.  He didn't have prior dancing experience, so the dancing experince issue doesn't really justify him leaving and her staying.  At the point he left, she still couldn't hold an expression on her face that supported the routines she was performing.  He not only could do that, he was moving fluidly and improving considerably week by week.

Oh no, the liberals can’t stand this. She is Sarah Palin’s daughter and has to go. Who says so?

I dismiss what Liberals offer up on this.  I will tell you that when I first heard she was going to be on the show, I knew exactly what type of dyamic was going to develop.  It seemed to me there was a very good chance that well-meaning people would watch the show and vote to support Bristol no matter what her performance level was.  And I thought that could turn ugly.  It's my interest in fair play.  If the mayor's kid or a big buinessman's son were participating in sports, I wouldn't want them to get preferrential treatment over my son or daughter.  On the other hand, I wouldn't want my son or daughter to get something that they didn't deserve just because the other kids had more perks in life either.  They should attain their rewards based on their merit.

I’m so sick of this stuff and the attacks on her family.

I don't like the attacks on her family either.  It started with those law-suits in Alaska and has continue on to today.  That doesn't mean that I endorse Sarah above all others.  I could easily see me voting for her, but she would have to convince me of a few things first.

I'm not trying to be crude here, so take my comments in the proper light.  When I think of things that God might do, I try to use certain tests to see if my logic is sound or possibly flawed.

Could God interfere in the affairs of man?  Of course.  He can do anything He wants.  Has He?  I'm sure He has.  Is he doing it today?  I believe he will provide clarity upon request.  I'm not convinced that at this state in the revelation of sin and all it's facets, it benefits the universe to suger-coat what sin will utlimate lead to.  God doesn't intervene to save all people from dying.  He doesn't intervene to stop all good people from dying.  He doesn't even intervene to stop the defenseless pure child from dying.  So I have to ask myself, can sin be revealed if God intervenes so that good wins out every time?  No.

Man must be allowed to exercise his free will.  And then the negative courses of action must be allowed to play out.  Only then will the universe see why God did not destroy Lucifer, and let him test man on this earth.  How did we win so much this past election?  God allowed sin go follow it's course, and well meaning men and women realized that we had to turn back from the brink.  It's something like that on a massive universal scale.  Other worlds must see what is taking place.  They must see man fail.  Ultimate, that's what we're headed for.  Once man has failed miserably, God can step in, rescue, and explain why.  He can clean up the mess.

So will He help Sarah win?  I'm not convinced of it.  At some point, it's going to be time to let man fail.  As you say, if it is God's will, she will win.  I have no doubt of it.  Will it be God's will?  I honestly don't know.

I will add that I am not completely confident that Palin is the right person for the job.  I'm not here to say she is a bad person.  I honestly think she means well.  I'm still not conivinced she has an accurate picture of national and global dynamics.  Her sound bites are good.  Her abiliity to move people is.  I still haven't heard the details that make me comfortable.  And I have heard some things that lead me not to be.  So I'm respectfully declining an endorsement today.

Based on this, I believe that zero was elected so that people would wake up out of their lethargic stupor.

I believe the election of Obama played into God's plans for the human race.  I believe some people will be saved.  I believe others will not.  Ultimately, there will come a time when people will be locked into their lethargic stupor for all of eternity, by choice.

Some people did wake up  Others did not.  I think we are reaching a point when man will lose his ability to recover.  If the United States falls, we will be on the brink of God's final rescue of some of us.  It's our job to make sure we are doing our best to be ready.  I pitty the people who contribute to this nation falling.  For all it's faults, it is/was still the best hope for mankind.

JMO, of course.

And mine too.  You take care.

Hope this wasn't too overbearing.

My comment below is becoming less subjective and more factual.

You really need some professional help.

Rant all you want.....I’m done talking with you.

Good grief. It’s a popularity contest!! You vote for your FAVORITE. Bristol is my favorite - so I vote for her. What is it that some people have so much trouble understanding?

You are correct. You vote for your favorite. Mine is Bristol as well.

You asked, “What is it that some people have so much trouble understanding?

The answer is they have trouble understanding. Simple as that.

No, your comments weren’t overbearing, and I truly respect the fact that you took the time to comment very gracefully, on what I wrote. We may not agree on all things, but, as long as we can have a mature, agreement to disagree on certain issues, then all is well.

I have no idea whether it’s God’s will for Sarah to run and win the presidency. That’s up to Him and her.

I do have to agree with you on man’s free will. However, let me add that Jesus struck Saul of Tarsus blind on the road to Damascus, and I’ll bet that Saul didn’t have a hand in that. But, the church was praying for Saul, and, so God intervened to turn Saul around, and he became the Apostle Paul. The Apostle to the Gentiles. God also intervened in Nivevah when he told Jonah to go preach to that wicked city, or he was going to destroy it. Jonah wanted no part of that, so, he bought a ticket and headed for Tarshish. God wasn’t happy with that, so, he intervened and had Jonah thrown overboard, until Jonah made up his mind to obey God. And, so, he did. God saved the city of Ninevah, then Jonah whined and bellyached about it.

Just a couple of examples of God intervening in people’s lives without them asking him to do so. I have to respect that God is all wisdom and knows what He’s doing. Yes, sometimes I question things, and who doesn’t? That’s why He is God and we are human. There are some things probably we are better off not knowing.

Back to the subject at hand. I do enjoy watching Bristol. I think she’s a beautiful girl, who has made a mistake in her life. She didn’t shun her responsibility, and is trying to make a decent living for her and her son. I’m appalled at the hatred in the blogosphere for her and Sarah. It just shows me what hypocrites people truly are.
I don’t know whether Bristol will win, but, she made it to the finals, and, really, who could ask for anything more? People have their reasons why they vote for who they vote for, but, mine isn’t out of spite. I do enjoy the liberal heads exploding, and I’d be a liar if I said I didn’t. But, that isn’t my motivation.

Thank you CatsRUs. I appreciate the response.

I wrote this once and tossed it out. Hope this new version makes sense.

I believe that in the days you were referencing, ultimate salvation was not at hand for all of humanity. Individual and regional salvation was.

Today the world has shrunk to the point that universal salvation can be determined. Information flows, understanding is obtained, choices are being made.

It is in this environment that you see a possible reawakening, via the right person being installed in our government. I’m not opposed to that. I’m just not convinced it plays into God’s hand at this point.

Humanity is making it’s choices now. The Holy Spirit is working overtime, but it’s on a personal basis. We will chose our leaders on our own. And at some point, we will make enough wrong decisions that failure will result.

And as the global infrastructure crumbles, God’s opportunity to rescue His own, becomes possible. I’m just not convinced that putting that off any longer is necessary.

The ducks are in a row now. Everything needed to bring about that moment, is now in place. What does it benefit man or God to delay further?

Look, there may be something I’m missing, and if so you could be right and I wrong. We’ll see.

You take care. I’ve enjoyed talking with you.
