Retired Air Force Lieutenant General Thomas McInerney has supplied an affidavit in support of Army Lieutenant Colonel Terrence Lakin, who faces trial on October 13-15. The retired Air Force three-star is the highest ranking officer yet to lend public support to LTC Lakin. His affidavit acknowledges widespread concerns over the President's Constitutional eligibility and demands the President release his birth records or the court authorize discovery.
McInerney’s sworn affidavit was filed in Court-Martial in support of Lakin’s motions for subpoenas for all of the president’s school records, and for a deposition of the custodian of Obama’s birth records in the possession of the State of Hawaii. The Judge has set a hearing in the Court Martial on these motions for this coming Thursday, September 2nd at 11:00 at Ft. Meade, Maryland. All court proceedings are open to the public. The courthouse is located within Ft. Meade at 4432 Llewellyn Avenue, which is on the corner of Llewellyn and Ernie Pyle Road. At the first intersection after the Reece Road gate, you should turn left on to Ernie Pyle Road. The courthouse is approximately 1 mile south of the intersection of Reece Road and Ernie Pyle Road.
LTC Lakin is a physician, and is in his 18th year of service in the Army. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He has been recognized for his outstanding service as a flight surgeon for year-long tours in Honduras, Bosnia and Afghanistan. He was also awarded the Bronze Star for his service in Afghanistan and recognized in 2005 as one of the Army Medical Department’s outstanding flight surgeons. In March of this year, he announced in a video posted on YouTube that he would refuse to obey orders until receiving proof of the President’s eligibility.

But it does require that the President meet an absolute standard of qualification that can be supported by facts presentable as evidence to a court of law. Those can be documents or the testimony under oath of witnesses -- like parents.
What facts capable of being presented to a court of law do you have that prove Obama is an Article II natural born citizen???

What equivalent facts do you have for any other president? Let's pick one. How about Garfield. What you got on him?
Anyway, it's not my claim. The birther claim is that he isn't eligible. So you should be asking them for their "facts capable of being presented to a court of law".
No. Obama's eligibility has no bearing on this case. Larkin isn't accused of disobeying an order from Obama.
He isn't my favorite president. I think he's a dumbass. You must be projecting. But whether I like him or not has no bearing on the facts of his eligibility. It is irrational to be unable to separate those two things, which is why birthers are fundamentally irrational.

The testimony of living credible people at the time, his parents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, other relatives, doctors, midwives, and others who could and would if called upon by a court of law provide the facts of his birth and birth parents proving that he was a natural born citizen.
Where is anyone willing to appear in a court of law to testify to the facts of Obama's birth??? and in their absence where is any documentation???

I didn’t know that the general was the convening authority in many court marshals but I did read the affidavit in it’s entirety. I had been thinking Lakin was screwed but now that I read that i was VERY hopeful for a successful outcome for him in some fashion. he may not get the birth certificate he wishes to see, but at least I think he won’t go to Leavenworth either.
The man deserves a medal IMO .. he is defending the constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic at a cost of great sacrifice.
He belongs in the history books as a great patriot.
On another note, i would love to be a fly on the wall in the Oval office when they discuss this. Obama must be furious and scared at the same time. I would think that he is probably going to have to start making nice nice with people so they don’t put pressure on anyone to make this come out. He will want it to go away bad.
