How Vindictive Is This Administration?
The Corner (at NR) ^ | August 26, 2010 | Daniel Foster

I’m not usually the conspiratorial type, but watch Gov. Chris Christie explain how the Obama administration disqualified the state of New Jersey from hundreds of millions in education funds because some clerk in Trenton turned in the wrong excel spreadsheet:

Another example of the Illegal's vindictiveness: totally ignoring the horrible, 500 year flood that devastated Nashville, TN and middle Tennessee this year, from which Nashville has yet to recover.

Vindictive?
Ask Charlie Rangel, who supported Hillary. There seems to be a pattern.

And did Nashville support obammy in his presidential election?
Nope, and neither did the Lousiana Gulf coast.

I saw this on Cavuto yesterday, and Christie was impressive as usual.

But I wonder if he had picked up the phone and tried to call to correct the error. I’m guessing he did, but got no response. However, he didn’t say whether he did or not.

There is no question that the President of the United States issued an order to destroy the Governor of New Jersey.

Rather than drag out two volumes of grant application and wave one sheet around he should have gone on attack and charged the President with vindictive political war.

He should have then begun a campaign to get the President ousted.

Damn right, he and his entire team is vindictive. He only supports those who voted for him. As for the rest, he is actively working to destroy them.

So much for him being the President of the United States.
He is the President of the obama fan club only.

The day he goes back to kenya can’t come fast enough.

Christie should reciprocate by refusing to send in federal taxes the state collects.

Did the Car Czar really only shut down dealerships that contributed to Republicans and 1 for Hillary?

Or how about, with all the crappola that could be cut in every bureaucratic budget in the federal government, the White House goes to VIRGINIA and cuts the Joint Forces Command in Norfolk, which involves not only national security but 6,000 jobs?

Virginia is that mean state suing to stop the federal government from imposing individual mandates (to buy health insurance) on citizens. Oh, and like NJ, it has a Republican Governor who knows how to manage the state’s spending — which has resulted in the totally unfair situation where Virginia now has a budget surplus. This cannot be allowed! A budget surplus and 6,000 jobs in Norfolk! No way. /s

I’m not a conspiracy theorist either. But just sayin’.

Methinks the Emperor doesn’t want to get into a war of words with Mr. Christie. No matter his shortcomings, Chris Christie is a guy who isn’t afraid to say what he thinks and has a lot more common sense wisdom than Dear Leader.

Vindictive and petty? No question about it. It’s the Obama way. Look at how they’re handling Arizona and Texas and Louisiana, all governed by the GOP. New Jersey is no exception. But, on the other hand, California gets whatever it wants because Arnuld is a RINO turncoat.

Another thing, Tennessee is a state of the “old South”, and Obama harbors illwill towards those states. Can you say “discrimination”?

“O” declares war on America every f*&^%$n time he opens his mouth!

Electing HIM to the Presidency, America effectively shot itself in the foot.

I watched the whole video. Chris Christie is a wonder to watch in action. Where other politicians confuse, he clarifies.

He’s already America’s best governor after just eight months in office. And aside from his girth, I don’t think he has any personal baggage that the traitor-scum media can beat him up with. Actually, his weight may be an asset — he looks like a real person, not a blow-dried empty suit.

If he grew a bushy moustache, he’s be just like Grover Cleveland.

Christie seems to be that one politician in 1,000 who retains the spirit of the Founding Fathers — i.e. holding public office is a high responsibility, not a career.

Honestly, from what I’ve seen of this guy, he seems comfortable enough in his own skin that he may just go back to practicing law after his term and be quite happy about it.

I don’t understand why when the head of the DOE met with the administration drones he didn’t just bring the correct spreadsheet with him rather than verbally give the numbers.

Virginia also has the DNC Chairman ~ and he was supposedly on Obama's "short list" for VP.

Then there's Democrat Senators Webb and Warner.

There was a time the Joint Force Command was thought to be the answer to all (or most) of our potential conflicts ~ since then we've been in two relatively large air and ground-pounder wars in the Middle East, and something entirely different in Afghanistan.

Could be some good reasons for the changes down in Hampton Roads.

On the other hand, maybe what's happened is that when DNC Chairman Kaine LOST the "Kennedy Seat" in the Senate and also lost effective full time knee-jerk control of the US Senate it was necessary for Obama to "punish him".

Let's make it that personal for a petulent narcissist.

Doesn't that sound much better than suggesting at this late date that Secretary Gates is as much a looney-tune as Gibbs.

***

But he’s sending millions to Pakistan as flood relief.

We know where his priorities, and his loyalties, lie.

Of the 9 states (and DC) awarded part of the millions in grants all but one voted for Obama in ‘08. SC is the lone exception. Also interesting to note that they are all east of the Mississippi with the lone exception of Hawaii.
