A spokesman for the Jeddah-based bloc of Islamic states expressed concern Tuesday that the planned action by the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville would stir up “anger across the Muslim world and provoke unrest.”
The OIC said it hoped the U.S. government would “take appropriate steps to protect the sacred religious sentiments of Muslims of America and of the Muslims across the world.”"

Have you noticed it doesn’t take much to aggravate a Muslim?
As you know, most of the “developing” (underdeveloped) world are some form of military dictatorship, or with very corrupt democratic forms (that don’t work very well...). So while yes, these Christians are willing to fight for their lives...under heavy dictatorships, or corrupt regimes, that is often impossible.
Take Nigeria for example, where something like 72 million are Christian (and of the serious evangelical variety), another 72 million there are Muslim and are attempting to institute Sharia law in places...and yes it is resisted, while hundreds (and even thousands) get murdered by the Muslims. A very dicey situation there for Christians, who don’t control the government and don’t have the military means at their hands for their own defense.
Besides that, as shown in our own history—civil wars are something to be avoided if AT ALL possible, as they tend to kill many, many people—especially innocents.
It’s bound to play right into the hands of Imam Rauf, like the stabbing of the taxi driver in NYC.
It’s Rauf and his flagrant provocation that has brought this whole atmosphere about, and that’s just what he wants:
polarization along with the abridgement of OUR freedoms so that he can keep pushing HIS.
Actually we should be careful. These guys could hold rallies and burn our flag. Heck some of them might even try to carbomb our embassies or places of business overseas. We wouldn’t want that to happen.

The sad thing is that if koran sells go up for this event, most Muslims will think the sells are up because people are converting. It was like the creep Obama/Osama said after 911 when he heard that koran sells were up, that people were converting because of 911.... not realizing it was a know your enemy moment.
Do you think printing a few scriptures of that Satan book and the title page and then burning them would be a sufficient message? I don’t want to waste a penny on that crap.

Personally, I believe in the principle of eye for an eye.....they repeatedly burn our Holy Book, be assured, despite the wacky nature of this church, they have every right to burn as many Qur’ans/Korans as they want....eye for eye.
