A spokesman for the Jeddah-based bloc of Islamic states expressed concern Tuesday that the planned action by the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville would stir up “anger across the Muslim world and provoke unrest.”
The OIC said it hoped the U.S. government would “take appropriate steps to protect the sacred religious sentiments of Muslims of America and of the Muslims across the world.”"

I bet these “moderate” muslims find some latent switch clicking them into “enraged” muslims when they see an American burning their holy books.
Here is my stand on all of this, we will burn their Koran, they will get pissed off, they will cry to Obama, he will make a nationwide plea to Americans to respect what he considers sacred holy book,I doubt he will ignore it, he is in for a penny, in for a pound as far as supporting Islam now and has total omnipotency in regards to what America thinks about him being a Muslim, in Obama’s mind he is saying, “So what? Who is going to do anything about it, I won”
The best thing about burning the koran all across America is that it may very well flush out the waiting terrorists, and again I have NO doubt there are thousands of hidden waiting Islamic terrorists in America, and they hate black and brown people just as much as whitey.
I guarantee you that they will also use our resistance to the GZ mosque construction as an excuse to murder Christians in those countries. So, what should we do? Fold and let them build it, or resist, recognizing that we are in a war and innocents are going to die no matter what we do anyway?
Yes they do kill Christians, without remorse. However, whenever news comes of Westerners supposedly insulting Islam--rioting and murder gets a lot worse, and its used as an excuse for MORE murder than otherwise would occur.
Such an action as Americans publicaly burning Korans is absolutely guaranteed to get a LOT MORE Christians tortured and murdered overseas than otherwise would be...
I've met Africans who've had friends killed JUST because they were Christians, so this is not an abstract issue to me.
Christians especially, even though it is our right as Americans to be insulting and burn books, should avoid unnecessarily insulting other religions--if we really want to help them be open to hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. This isn't the Crusades, folks!

Its not a religion according to me, and its a sign of weakness on their part that I am totally happy to exploit, this worldwide Islamic problem has to reach an ultimatum, the Imams will have to universally understand that USA is hands off, no Islamic domination will be allowed...period.

Hundreds of millions of Christians in the developing world are vulnerable to Islamic persecution and death right now. If the current conflicts we have are elevated to an openly religious war, Osama and company will be proven right, as they already see it as one...AND those hundreds of millions of Christians will suffer and get killed a lot more than they already are...
Besides that, Obama and the rest of the Western world’s leaders aren’t even Christians, as far as I can tell.
Are those Christians unwilling to defend their right to live, to fight, to survive? Usually but not always its the atheist or agnostics or the types like the Jehovahs Witnesses that won’t fight.
Most warriors that I know of through history are very christian.

Excellent idea! I have a real problem with burning something I payed good money for. And I guess it is OK to lie to them if they ask why I want a copy, since Islam promotes lying to infidels!
