Don't look, birthers: Obama's passport
Politico ^ | August 17, 2010 | Josh Gerstein

Posted on 08/17/2010 11:13:03 AM PDT by Natural Born 54

Here's something new for the birthers to chew over: President Barack Obama's passport. Says he was born in Hawaii! But the White House has strategically fuzzed out certain data, so the mystery continues.

Now, it's his official passport, which means it's new, so the true believers will not be persuaded. Not that they ever would.

Why is the White House suddenly showing the president’s partial passport ?
Obviously smoke and mirrors designed to fool idiots like the Politico .
I also thought it bizarre that Barry felt it necessary
to describe himself
“ as a citizen “ in his pro Ground Zero mosque comments .
What is the color of the passport ?

Surely, not blue.
Maroon passport covers are for employees of the United States assigned overseas, either permanently or temporarily, and their eligible dependents,
and to members of Congress who travel abroad on official business.
Period of validity: generally five years from the date of issue.

Black diplomat passport covers are for American diplomats accredited overseas and their eligible dependents, and to citizens who reside in the United States and travel abroad for diplomatic work.
Period of validity: generally five years from the date of issue.

I think it likely that Zero was born in Hawaii.

However, I believe there is other incriminating data on the original BC which is why Obama has spent millions from letting it see the light of day.

Perhaps it shows his mother and father not married...don't know. But something weird is on that long form.

This is interesting. The tabloid Globe reports that Obama has several discrepencies with his Soc Security Numbers and shortly after it hits the streets, a report comes out with a youtube video showing his passport. Maybe the issue is not the location of birth but his Social Security Nos.

I’m not a birther but can someone explain to me how this makes a birther embarrassed?

Because Politico says so.

Meanwhile 911 "Trufers" like Hillary Clinton (who declared from the floor of the Senate in Feb 2002 that "Bush knew!") get a pass from the Pravda Media.

People who push the birth issue are being distracted from the “real” necessary work of electing conservatives, and securing enough statehouses and legislatures to control re-districting.

Why not focus on them both, with electing conservatives taking precedence? I think his right to be president is too important to be ignored. Especially since there's obviously something fishy about his claim to Hawaiian birth.

Looking at the photo, it doesn’t appear that there is a cover.

The page looks to be lying completely flat, with no crease/lip from how you open the passport.

My money is on phony diversion propaganda from the mosque story

Obama’s staff claimed he is a lifelong Christian as well.

Where is the baptism certificate and who brought him there?

His muslim fathers? His agnostic mother? His unitarian grandmother?

Do they think that possession of a passport somehow qualifies you to be President of the United States?

Mommy and Daddy reportedly married after the pregnancy. Additionally the marriage was not valid because Daddy was a bigamist/polygamist.

This article proves 2 things:

1) Obama showed up on film at least once less than 2 years ago when this passport was printed.

2) Politico is staffed by mildly retarded children.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Claim: Barack Obama must have used a non-U.S. passport to travel to Pakistan in 1981.

FALSE

Origins: This item is yet another of many similar pieces purporting to offer some bit of evidence demonstrating that Barack Obama is not a native-born citizen of the U.S. and thus is ineligible to be President of the United States. The premise in this case is that a young Barack Obama visited Pakistan back in 1981, a country he allegedly could not have traveled to on a U.S. passport, and thus he must have used a passport issued by some other country, such as the U.K. (Obama's father was a Kenyan and thus a British subject) or Indonesia (where Obama lived for a while after his mother married an Indonesian citizen) -- a circumstance supposedly demonstrating that Barack Obama wasn't born in the U.S., once held multiple citizenships, or at some point gave up his U.S. citizenship.

During a fundraiser in San Francisco in April 2008, Barack Obama made reference to a visit he had undertaken to Pakistan during his college years (a journey he had not mentioned in either of his books). His campaign press secretary, Bill Burton, later provided some additional detail about that trip to curious journalists: During the summer of 1981, when he was twenty years old, Barack Obama visited with his mother and half-sister in Indonesia, then embarked on a three-week trip to Pakistan with a college friend whose family lived in Karachi. However, the claim that Barack Obama must have set out on that trip to Pakistan using a non-U.S. passport is false: The U.S. State Department did not include Pakistan on a "no travel" list barring Americans from traveling there in mid-1981, and evidence documents that Americans could in fact freely visit that country at that time...

Doesn’t matter, just like the polls don’t matter, and the election coming up won’t matter.

The left is like a cornered wild dog right now and by the time January 2011 rolls around they will have crammed through so much destructive legislation that can’t be reversed you won’t recognize your country anymore.
Freedom will be a thing of the past.

The enemy is inside the gate and succeeding at everything they have set out for.

Sorry for the doom and gloom, but I call it as I see it.

Hope I’m 100% wrong.

I'm not a ‘birther’ either, but I do believe this is an issue. I was born in Hawaii and I have both the original birth certificate and the certificate of live birth. The certificate of live birth is significantly scant on information. Unfortunately, I don't have them both in front of me at the moment. The passport service will accept a certificate of live birth, but all that means is that the State of Hawaii recognizes the birth of BHS to said parents. It does not confirm where he was born, who his doctor was, of parent's place of residence.
Somebody feel free to check me out on this to confirm or correct my information.

There are two types of passports. The blue cover and the red or maroon cover. The maroon cover passport has “OFFICIAL PASSPORT” on the cover above the seal whereas the blue cover on has “PASSORT” only above the seal.

I had an Official Passport when I was on duty in Teheran during the Shah’s regime. When I entered the country, I did like everyone else and started opening my bags but as soon as the customs official there saw my passport, they closed the bags and told me everything is OK.

Obama would have only been eligible for an Official Passport when he was a Senator at the very earliest.
