Its not being reflected in current House polling, even through trend lines. That makes no sense.

It was 6 or 7 when Newt and the boys took over in 94'

Again Boehner spilled the beans, he shouldn't have. but IMHO 100 seats is not out of the question in the House for a pickup. IHMO the GZM hasn't marinaded enough to show up in these numbers, that ought to be good for a couple more points.....

I don’t want to see Democrats just defeated. I want to see them get blown away. Like a fart in a whirlwind!

Unfortunately, people don't vote on a generic ballot and the Rats have a big advantage in controlling more of the vote counters. We can bet on the fact that every close election will somehow go to a Rat.
There are still too many people out there that are convinced the GOP caused the financial melt down.
The GOP will win more seats, but not enough to reverse what damage has been done and what damage will be done by a lame duck congress looking at the last chance to make terrible laws.
There are two things we need to fear in that lame duck congress....immigration amnesty and the selection another supreme.

Not only will the GOP win BIG, but the GOP House caucus will be much more CONSERVATIVE than in 1996. I want to see the freshman class exert influence on the GOP agenda..and not sit quietly..

Don’t forget - redistricting will be huge in 2011 as the census results play out. Also important will be the effect on state legislative districts.

Don’t forget about your local races. NOW is the time for Conservatives to clearly articulate our vision and take back this country one LD at a time!

I want to see them get blown away...

The NYC mosque issue is quite radioactive, and will furthur erode 'rat numbers in the presidential approvals as well as generic ballot. Fascinating to see Harry Reed (sic) come out now opposed to the mosque.

Ditto that and with guys like Popaditch if he makes it to the house, will not take any Bullfeathers from the Senate and will drag their sorry @$$es across the line or protest them and make them look like the fools that they so often are...

Personally I can't wait to see all the Doctors and Retired Military Men and Women get elected that are running. Gosh in so many ways this is a great country, present leadership excluded...

This would be great if generic Republicans and generic Democrats were on the ballot, but they’re not. Many Democrat-held seats are entrenched seats that are not going to be given up. A handful more are so controlled by corruption that the vote won’t matter.

I want to see the GOP take over at least one of the two houses so they can set/stop the agenda of legislation but it’s no gimmee on either side. In the Senate, the GOP will need to “run the table” to gain control and in the House, the GOP is going to need to have a big win to get enough to gain control. It could happen. I’d like it to happen. But I’m not comfortable yet with believing it *will* happen.

If all we get are smaller Democrat majorities, the Dems will just play more legislative tricks like “deem and pass” to get what they want.

Think about it..you could have a GOPfreshman class of 100+..which, if they vote together, can get some newbies into the leadership..

I want to see their corruption investigated, exposed, and prosecuted. Gitmo for life is too easy for them.

There needs to be at least a small R majority to put the brakes on the damage and start up hearings on everything under the sun.

On another note, I POSTed here after searching for "generic", and found nothing since June. BUT, there is this earlier page with the correct title from Rasmussen, but it does not show up on searches... what gives?

I have been saying 100+ in my Tagline for over a year.

TSUNAMI !!!

The polls for this are MORE THAN FOUR TIMES as high on the Generic as they were in 1994.

Since the Ras poll counts registered voters, my prediction is that the actual numbers will be much higher since Republicans and disgusted independents are highly motivated to vote this election cycle.

Get the popcorn out November 2, I think it might be a long show.

"The polls for this are MORE THAN FOUR TIMES as high on the Generic as they were in 1994."

So how come the threads here that post composite polls on a state-by-state basis show no such tsunami? Indeed, the Freeper composite poll---reported here daily---now stands at about a 34-35 seat improvement, but not enough to gain the majority.

I personally think we'll see about a 50-seat gain, or just enough to be blamed for everything. Still, it's necessary to stop Zero. . . if the new guys have the Palins to do so.
