Its not being reflected in current House polling, even through trend lines. That makes no sense.

It was 6 or 7 when Newt and the boys took over in 94'

Again Boehner spilled the beans, he shouldn't have. but IMHO 100 seats is not out of the question in the House for a pickup. IHMO the GZM hasn't marinaded enough to show up in these numbers, that ought to be good for a couple more points.....

I don’t want to see Democrats just defeated. I want to see them get blown away. Like a fart in a whirlwind!

This would be great if generic Republicans and generic Democrats were on the ballot, but they’re not. Many Democrat-held seats are entrenched seats that are not going to be given up. A handful more are so controlled by corruption that the vote won’t matter.

I want to see the GOP take over at least one of the two houses so they can set/stop the agenda of legislation but it’s no gimmee on either side. In the Senate, the GOP will need to “run the table” to gain control and in the House, the GOP is going to need to have a big win to get enough to gain control. It could happen. I’d like it to happen. But I’m not comfortable yet with believing it *will* happen.

If all we get are smaller Democrat majorities, the Dems will just play more legislative tricks like “deem and pass” to get what they want.

Imagine what it would look like if the Republicans were actually able to articulate (and the media report) a coherent, cohesive message.

Ping!!!

The five point gain for the GOP compared to last week is probably right at the edge of the margin of error, i.e., most likely a real gain for the GOP in the last week.

Could be that O's announcement favoring the mosque near Ground Zero had some immediate effect on the previously undecideds. Bad economic news could have been a factor as well.

Great news; and I have confidence in Rasmussen polling. Gallup is left-wing.

Dem Pollster, Pat Caddell, was just on Sean Hannity's program. He made two statements re: Obama supporting the Mosque being built at Ground Zero:
1. He (Obama) is about to blow up the Democratic Party.
2. They (Democrats) will pay a high price.

It’s almost as if Obama is doing everything in his power to throw the election to Republicans. You have to ask yourself, is he this stupid or is he setting Republicans up for failure. Assuming republicans do take back the Congress, Obama will use his veto pen to stop anything Republicans send to his desk knowing his veto’s will stand.

The voting public is mad as Hell and if they give Republicans control, they WILL expect results. Obama has wrecked this economy so badly that it will take more than 2 years to recover.

I want republicans to win and WIN BIG! I want Republicans to FORCE Obama to play ball! I want Republicans TO GOVERN and restore our nation to greatness.

We CANNOT and MUST NOT FAIL! The price of our failure is a second term for Obama.
