This would be great if generic Republicans and generic Democrats were on the ballot, but they’re not. Many Democrat-held seats are entrenched seats that are not going to be given up. A handful more are so controlled by corruption that the vote won’t matter.

I want to see the GOP take over at least one of the two houses so they can set/stop the agenda of legislation but it’s no gimmee on either side. In the Senate, the GOP will need to “run the table” to gain control and in the House, the GOP is going to need to have a big win to get enough to gain control. It could happen. I’d like it to happen. But I’m not comfortable yet with believing it *will* happen.

If all we get are smaller Democrat majorities, the Dems will just play more legislative tricks like “deem and pass” to get what they want.

There needs to be at least a small R majority to put the brakes on the damage and start up hearings on everything under the sun.

On another note, I POSTed here after searching for "generic", and found nothing since June. BUT, there is this earlier page with the correct title from Rasmussen, but it does not show up on searches... what gives?
