The developers of the so-called Ground Zero mosque rejected New York Gov. David Patersons offer to provide state property if the project is moved farther away from where the twin towers once stood.
I think they would like to stay where they are, and I certainly respect that and I certainly respect them, Paterson said. Having said that, how much more foresighted would it have been if the imam who is the developer of the project had been willing to hear what we are actually talking about?

Instead, Rauf rejected it outright, without even discussing this with Paterson, making even Paterson wonder, how much more foresighted would it have been if the imam who is the developer of the project had been willing to hear what we are actually talking about?
At least things are out in the open now, unless youre a Ground Zero Mosque supporter and apologist. As many of us had a hunch, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is intent upon building this Mosque as a symbol, a monument to radical Islams greatest victory over Western Civilization. Rauf could have diffused the situation, but instead hes inflaming it!
It doesn’t make sense
To do your big Touchdown Dance
In the parking lot.
Thats because these “moderate muslims” intent to celebrate their success on 9/11.
It’s a scalp on a lodge pole; a victory shout by the Muslims.
They’re not interested in halfway measures.
Of course they rejected it.
The muslims would rather cross the bridge to Manhattan into the busiest business office real estate section in the world, through New York traffic, past many existing mosques in residential areas, to dance on our graves.
Roger that! The unwhitting Patterson just outed the agenda for all to see.
Doing things “in the name of God” are taken to be sacred rights within religions ...
“Ah, what fools these mortals be.”
You about summed it up.
Yes, he did. Even leaving aside the propriety of a state giving land to a specific religious group for the construction of a religious building, the fact that he got an outright refusal shows you exactly what the Islamic agenda is in building on this site.
Perhaps in a gesture of inclusion, tolerance, and embracing diversity we could fly an unmanned aerial vehicle loaded with jet fuel and explosives into the mosque once construction is complete.
Food for thought ....
A church is a tax exempt entity.
That’s why churches are typically NOT in commercially zoned areas, the city is unable to collect sales or property tax on a church; so if the church is allowed to build in a highly desired commercial district, tax revenue is adversely affected.
So, we not only have leadership that granted ‘special’ rights to Muslims to commit this insult; they have intentionally foregone collecting tax revenues for the building that the Mosque will reside in.
This is why you don’t see Catholic Churches, Jewish or Mormon Temples, Baptist churches or any other denomination’s church on Rodeo Drive, Wall Street or other ‘high demand’ commecial areas. And yes, the area around the Twin Towers site in New York is considered a highly desired property site for a commecial company.
Exactly; this is a holy site of conquest, not just any piece of real estate. The mosque facility will be huge and able to house the many thousands of muzzie pilgrims who will come to NY to pay tribute to their "great victory."
PJ Crowley is talking NOW about how IMPORTANT the IMAM is to State Dept. The enemy within.
I think they would like to stay where they are, and I certainly respect that and I certainly respect them, Paterson said......
I hope this idiot realizes he’s one of many “Doormat Americans” for terrorism in our country.....They won’t respect his sorry ass when they blow everything up!
What about the seperation of church and state?
Or does that not apply to mosque and state?
A state $65 BILLION in debt is going to GIVE $millions away to a religion, and yet tax others of another religion to foot the bill?
How would government giving land to a religious group not be seen as establishing a religion?
If spirit and outreach were part of his agenda, of course he would move.
But they are not.
This is an in-your-face challenge. Now it’s your/our move.
In Mecca :)
Support Greg Gutfeld’s moslem-friendly gay bar that he wants to put next to the GZ mosque.
Will all politicians with any balls please come to New York and defend our country?
