Food for thought ....
A church is a tax exempt entity.
That’s why churches are typically NOT in commercially zoned areas, the city is unable to collect sales or property tax on a church; so if the church is allowed to build in a highly desired commercial district, tax revenue is adversely affected.
So, we not only have leadership that granted ‘special’ rights to Muslims to commit this insult; they have intentionally foregone collecting tax revenues for the building that the Mosque will reside in.
This is why you don’t see Catholic Churches, Jewish or Mormon Temples, Baptist churches or any other denomination’s church on Rodeo Drive, Wall Street or other ‘high demand’ commecial areas. And yes, the area around the Twin Towers site in New York is considered a highly desired property site for a commecial company.
Can folk there sue? And keep this evil stinker riding on the courts for years?!
I guess Eminent Domain can only be used against Joe Homeowner. It cannot be used against Mohammed Northtower.
Unless they preexisted those high demand areas like St. Patrick's Cathedral on Fifth Avenue or St. Peter's Church on Barclay St. near WTC.
yep, these same communists will happily bulldoze a family in the name of eminent domain, for the mere prospect of a big money commercial prize...not in one of the highest demand sites in NYC though...telling...
Well to “refresh” your memory, there was a Greek Orthodox church that was next to the WTC Towers and was distroyed when the south tower came down. I do believe it should be REBUILT first before a mosque ever gets built, period.
Very good point.
