They’re counting days spent at the Western White House in Crawford, Texas, and at Camp David, as vacation, which they weren’t, they were working trips. Work went on as usual.
SpongeMike Sweatpants Moore cited the WaPo guy in Fakenhype 9/11. Turns out the WaPo guy counted weekends and also trips to Crawford where Bush entertained foreign visitors in a more relaxed atmosphere.
So, to be “fair” - we won’t count all the time Jerk the Wonder Prez and family have spent at their home in Chicago. That’ll reduce the number of days spent on vacation by what — four???
And the CBS guy “counting” the seven months Bush was supposedly on vacation should provide a list of those supposed days.
Personally, I think the less time Obama spends “working” is probably a GOOD thing for the country.
The fact CNN is “covering” this “sickly pointy finger of distain” story—defending Odumbo—is nothing more than indication how “impartial” they are. They’ll even tell ya that. No bias here...
Notice how these stories never mention 9-11 or maybe just maybe it was easier to protect the POTUS in Crawford. All Presidents (except Zero) work 24/7.
Yeah, ‘cept Bush was often working when he was in Crawford. Remember Colin Powell down there, afraid of the cows? And he often had heads of state down there for bonding visits. Notice Obama doesn’t do bonding visits, ‘cause he doesn’t bond with our traditional allies.
There is solid evidence of the kind of work Clinton did in the Oval Office... s/off
The only time the idiot loses sleep is when his wife cracks him on the head for eating a cheeseburger. . .
So . . . ABCNNBCBS tells lies. What a shocker!
Yes, it ruined a blue dress. . . . . .
216 days over 8 years is 54 days every two.
54 versus 85? And Obama hasn’t quite completed two years yet??
Pathetic. The press needs to be held accountable (yeah I know it will never happen).
It is bs. Every time Bush went to the bathroom the media counted that as a vacation day.
They got on Harry Truman’s case for time down at Key West or on the presidential yacht. Got all over Eisenhower for golfing. As for as Ike was concerned, no one knew that during the Lebanese crisis late in his administration, Th aging general planned the operation that moved virtually the while US Air Force to the Near East to put pressure on Iran. All the public ever saw was marines splashing ashore in Lebanon. On the other hand, we ridiculed Carter for burying himself in the White House during the hostage crisis. So I am inclined to give Obama some slack here.
It doesn't hurt to have this kind of a story once in a while to remind the left that the Won is not one of them. He likes to frequent the playing fields of the rich and famous...you know, the ones he is railing against everyday now.
It’s possible they’re including time President Bush spent in Crawford. The difference is that even when he was there, he was WORKING! He had members of his Cabinet join him there, and even had meetings with foreign dignitaries and Heads of State. He wasn’t playing golf, when he was at Prairie Chapel Ranch.
The press counted it as a “vacation” everytime Bush went to the western WH at Crawford or to Camp David for a weekend- even though those are alternate work locations, especially when Congress is in recess
There is and was nothing Bush could do that hate-crazed people will recognize as normal. Apparently the nation must sink much much lower before liberals perceive a hint of difference in Barry’s limited work habits and ineffectiveness and every president in US history before him
It's not only possible it's precisely what they did.
Any day spent at either Camp David or Bush's house in Crawford is counted as a "vacation day." It doesn't matter if Bush was meeting foreign heads of state or meeting with members of his cabinet, for this MSM smear to work, every one of these days must be counted as a vacation day.
It's a completely dishonest smear and it's one that is an article of faith among most liberals.
The number of Bush's "vacation days" is a ready response by libs to any criticism of Obama's work ethic.
Media watchdogs ping.
