Are they including working weekends at Camp David? That’s not fair ‘cause the president is never ever off-duty . . . until this current guy.
Since we have seen Obama’s desk and there is NOTHING ON IT, I would suggest that EVERY DAY is a VACATION for OBAMA, whether he’s at the WHITE HOUSE, or not.
Look, if they started telling the truth, think how absurd their slant/spin/bias would look! CNN’s perspective only looks reasonable when it’s presented in a framework of lies, half-truths and distortions.
Didn’t Bush work in Crawford? Does Obama do much work on his trips? Crawford was set up as a 2nd White House, right?
Something we only WISH Bill Clinton had been doing in there.

It reminds me so much of the USSR. Even as a child, I caught it. The Communists railing against private property and ownership, while they all owned those vacation dachas. How they dined on the finest international goodies while their "comrades" all lined up for their daily bread.
I thought Camp David was there to be used as a presidential retreat but it isn't good enough for the Obama's...who have to go where they can spend a ton of our $$$$!
IIR, Bush would stop by Crawford a lot of times when he was "in the neighborhood," for a weekend.
I don't recall the Bushes ever going on weekend trips the way the Obamas do...or dates in NYC.
If CNN and CBS feel the need to compare presidential vacation times, they are doing it as a reaction to negative chatter about Zero’s penchant for playing. It’s a good thing, if people are viewing him critically, because by seeing “reports” such as these, they can’t help but see just how much like Marie Antoinette he really is.
Actually, the difference is as plain and black and white and white. (Just an innocent little joke if the NAACP and BOR are lurking).
The real difference is between Freedom and Tyranny. I think somebody wrote a book about that recently.
Bush actually owned a home, and in the summer, he ran the white house out of his summer home. If the rule is “go home” == “vacation”, the president is always on vacation since they live in the “White House”, which is the residence for the President.
Crawford was built to be a workplace for the President. I would count trips to Camp David the same way — it’s a getaway, but they have facilities there to run the country.
They don’t have that in all these people’s houses that Obama is going to every time he vacations. Bush also didn’t vacation in other countries, so far as I can tell.
On the other hand, part of the problem is that the press makes such a big deal about Obama needed vacations because of how hard the job is.
the Puritan parties always go this route. Their leaders begin by railing against the rich and they end up imitating them. ala “Animal Farm.” As for Obama, this man has never worked hard in his whole life. Not for him the ole nose to the grindstone.

Bush went to his HOME or to Camp David.....he didn’t go all over the WORLD WITH HIS KIDS AND DOG!!!
