Cut out the middle-woman and install Obama's teleprompter on the Morning Joe set . . .
Give her high marks for candor: on today's show, Mika Brzezinski admitted that she has been "working with the White House" on oil spill talking points. But that still leaves the issue of the journalistic propriety of someone in Brzezinski's position serving as such a blatant shill for the president. H/t tip NB reader Ray R.
Mika could be seen reading from her notes during exchanges with former GE CEO Jack Welch, who was critical of the PBO's handling of the spill. After repeated ribbing from Welch and Joe Scarborough over her use of White House talking points, Mika came clean . . .

Thanks for the post, Mark. Someone has got to feed the Punk Of The United States talking points. Who better than state-run media?
A scholar like Mika can add fractions to Zero’s I.Q. and amplify his intelligence on a daily basis among her vast viewers and the male test-dummy sitting next to her.
Mika is pretty clueless and most of the time makes funny faces and funny sounds while the liberals on the show are talking. I guess this admission puts her in the Maddow/Olbermann club. What is interesting is Mika does a Morning Joe commercial on MSNBC where she says she always tries to be ‘fair’. ‘Fair’ is their codeword for liberal socialism.
“Mika should be on the WH payroll. She shills for Obama every day. And Joe isnt much of a conservative voice, IMHO.”
I’d love to be Joe’s chiropractor with all the contortions he’s twists himself into in an attempt to be “moderate”.
Bush could have done it. MSNBC would have laughed at him for doing it, but he could have done it.
The outrage is that Mika TOOK THE INITIATIVE to collaborate with the White House in doing her "journalism". She voluntarily became a WH spokeswoman on MSNBC's payroll. MSNBC should declare Mika's salary as an "in kind" political contribution.
You have the patience of Job.
Please don’t insult the Cretins.............They are dead and can’t defend themselves.............
Whata ya know, an honest propagandist.
Pray for America
Good point. A media whore actually admitting it.
Guess they feel pretty comfortable in that position.
She’s got plenty of “journalistic” company. Amazing how this gang of whores can side with a thuggish regime. Particularly after their whining over the evil Bush Administration.
Its not like MSDNC has any credibility to protect!
The MSM does not just support the Dems. The MSM IS the Dems.
A real jounalist would be ashamed to say that, let alone hear it. Of course, they quit teaching real jounalism decades ago.
She’s not a “real journalist”...she’s a shill.............
Remember when the WH Press Corp. ostracized a reporter for daring to ask a question favorable to the Bush admin? I forget the guys name (he turned out to have a past involving male(gay?) modeling or some such). Anyway, the MSM accused him of being a plant and ran him out of the press room. Wonder if the rest of the MSM will put Mika on the blacklist?
She is not a journalist, she is an employee for the White House..period. She is always looking at her blackberry during the broadcast getting her notes from the White House.
Very disturbing and disgusting.
At the very least we should all send in letters of our disgust not to MSNBC or NBC News...but to our local editorial board of our newspapers and have them print it. This way it will show up in search engines everywhere that MSNBC works hand in hand with ZERO objectivity with the Obama administration and is never to be trusted or watched as a news source.
She should have been back in the home country shilling for Jaruzelski and Company back in the day.
While sampling a friend’s homemade brandy, I spent a few idle, half-inebriated moments trying to decide whether this woman was attractive or not. I decided she wasn’t, because:
1. I prefer brunettes;
2. Mike always looks as though she’s about to spit out a peach pit.
