"Suspension of a national election, on the other hand, is something that even the dimmest bulbs in the country will totally understand. "

Of course- but what percentage of the "electorate" will support it? It should be obvious in relation to the reaction to the BP spill, after obozo's demonization, and all of the kooks calling for nationalization of BP.

"Remember that the elections would be suspended for everyone, not just Republicans. "

Yes, now that the dims own the house, senate, and presidency- I DO get that! His supporters will be ecstatic if he tries this. That's exactly what they want. Any attempted impeachment will be on Republican shoulders, and as it stands now and in the absense of November elections, we can forget that. But all in all, such action by the nazi just might trigger revolution, by the pubbies, the Tea party, many Independents, many veterans, and maybe a few principled democrats.

Such a move by the Zero regime would scare half the registered Democrats off the plantation, and into sanity. Naturally, the center-right would be up in arms and ready to storm the Bastille over it. And the foreign press would blow a gasket over such a clearly despotic move toward real tyranny in our time.

Suspending the November elections would be one of the greatest abridgments of the rights of the American people that has ever happened in our history, and would spark a violent uprising that could not be contained. It would begin the very real dismantling of everything the left-liberal Democrat party has done over the last 70 to 100 years.

I don't believe that Zero & Co. are suicidal enough to try this.

Well you’re surely right about him being like the sorcerer’s apprentice! He thought he was so smart until he couldn’t stop the brooms. Then he really started to panic!

I see some ‘08 stickers on cars. They generally are of the type to have a lot of them, actually.

The other day, while out, I sat next to a family going on & on about conservatives, Republicans, etc. I made it a point to have a conversation about the freaking communist ‘tards. The folks got quiet and left as soon as was feasible.

Frankly, I don’t think the liberal/communists are used to having opposition, since folks in their Right minds have said so little for so long. I mean, Vets and the Greatest Generation, along with the Quiet generation that came just during & after theirs, have just been too tolerant, polite & ‘still waters run deep’ types for so long that Leftists have had free play for too dam long.

“prius drivers”

I know Prius drivers who just like the technology. It’s a geek thing.

For that matter, hydrogen & electric cars are cool, too. The distribution systems are the big logistical issue.

Stanley Steemers ran on water, for cry-eyed. Oil was put to use because it was cheap.

Not knocking gasoline/diesel/propane here. And no. I don’t want to drive a pod car. I already had to replace valves one time on a Land Cruiser of all things.

Just saying.

Considering blacks make up 13% of population Obama is always guaranteed that floor of support.

Even that tide is turning in a small way.

I work in a primarily black neighborhood. there are quite a few unhappy people here..

Initially I was taken aback that they would relate such opinions to a white guy. Two of these negative opinions happened today. While working class, my customers are pretty damn smart and follow current events.

But after 7 years of war incesssant bashing, unrelenting falsehoods, and the intentional misleading of the country by the enemedia, along with the demonrats and more than a few so-called republicans, he was unpopular.

It had NOTHING to do with the war, per se.

That's completely true. But I believe that in the four remaining months the economy will go further down, possibly including some type of international credit crunch, and I fully expect some type of large terrorist attack on the US homeland, as well as little/no progress on the Obama Oil Catastrophe of 2010, and it will be extremely tempting for the rat party to consider cancelling/postponing this Nov election cycle. I think that a lot depends on future problems.

“To this day, my brother thinks that Bush stole the election despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.”

Ever tell him that no Presidential Candidate that failed to win in his home state has ever been elected? Gore did not carry Tennessee, or we would have been singing Hail to the Chief to that phony clown.....

When the the Home State folks don’t like you, you have real trouble.............

It took 5 years of unrelenting Democrat mud throwing with the MSM carrying their water to drive Bush’s poll numbers into the 40s~30s.....

Now Obama is reaching that milestone all by himself,in less than 2 years, with a rubberstamp congress, and with the MSM still carrying Dem water.....

Epic FAIL!

What’s the ‘Abyss Index’?

The abyss index is the difference between strong disapproval and total approval. For 5 days it was negative, an ominous sign for the resident marxist. Today, it lifted back up to +1. Take yesterday - total approval was 43% and strong disapprove was 44% - the thought being that once more people are strongly disapproving compared to total strong/mild approval, its all downhill for the 0ne, as the strong folks are the ones that have drilled-down and know the issues.

Another observation: Look at where Bill Clinton was during the 1994 Congressional elections...the mid to low 40’s. Hmmm...

That man was so lucky to have a Republican Congress in regards to his approval rating.

The people are figuring out the truth of Sam Adams words uttered over 220 years ago.

“Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt. He therefore is the truest friend to the liberty of his country who tries most to promote its virtue, and who, so far as his power and influence extend, will not suffer a man to be chosen into any office of power and trust who is not a wise and virtuous man.” Samuel Adams

“The liberties of our Country, the freedom of our civil constitution are worth defending at all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have receiv’d them as a fair Inheritance from our worthy Ancestors: They purchas’d them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood; and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us without a struggle; or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.” - Samuel Adams

I just saw my cousin at a party this weekend and he’s a big supporter of the 0ne. He’s about to graduate and he’s telling me how he can’t wait to find a job and make some money.

I had to laugh to myslef because as a recent college grad I have had a hell of a time finding a real career and he’ll be facing the same fate soon enough, especially because his degree is in English and Philosophy. Maybe that will open up his eyes to the bs that this joker is pulling.

I can only hope that both of our family members wake up.

The whole problem Hispanics would rather get a big government check.

This is one Hispanic that doesn’t want one or any part of the Obama agenda.
