BINGO! He knows what he’s doing. I halfway expect this November’s elections to be cancelled, due to the Obama oil slick, financial crisis, and whatever else he’s caused in the next four months.
Most don't live very green. I will give my brother and sister-in-law credit though. They live with pretty low impact. They bicycle a lot, don't mow their lawn, compost, garden, sew clothing, eat low on the food chain, recycle/re-use/repair. They also don't have kids, so they don't have the whole diaper issue or have guilt over the endless succession of plastic toys. Their major indulgence, apart from heating the house, is travel. They're artists and they both like to go places, and you can't bicycle across oceans. When they travel, they live simply, and often stay with friends. They have a network of pals who seem to help each other out that way. Sometimes it's a bit more mooching than I would feel comfortable with, but his friends seem OK with it.
We don't make a big show of going green, but in many ways we're greener than the liberal greenies, simply because we're frugal and conservative. We repair things that break, keep appliances and cars until they literally can't be fixed anymore, repair clothing, cook at home, insulate, keep our thermostat at reasonable levels, and teach our kids good stewardship. What we can't use, we often sell online, or we donate it rather than throw it away. There are many things that frugal people have done since time immemorial - we just don't go around tooting our horns about being "green" or forcing others to do it our way.
I like that old adage - "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without"

As a general rule I do not like bumper stickers on my car, nver had one. However, I do like that “9 mm inside” one. ‘Course, I live in Texas, so I am not alone.

The level of paranoia about Zero canceling elections on the right is really surprising to me. He can't just go and do that without sparking a major armed rebellion in this country, and he knows it.

My husband is a government worker; he says that a majority of those in his office hate 0b0z0, but supervisors love him. Failure to gush about him or (at the least) remain neutral when his name comes up earns reprimands and crappy duty assignments.
Ah, no; I’m meeting more and more black folk who are shattered by Obama’s incompetence. “The Black Vote” is no longer monolithic.
They expected better performance than he’s exhibited to date. Hell, he doesn’t even act as thought he supports the U.S.A. or Americans in general.
He will always have a core support among leftists and really stupid people, but hey! That’s politics.

Do you know where I can find the demographics on Ras’s LV screen? I have no reason to think he’s wrong, but I’d sure like to see what kind of sample he’s using.
I find the CNN one interesting. They polled all adults, THE DAY AFTER Obama’s speech....and still could only get him at 50%. That’s not good at all for O.
