Why does Fannie Mae, a government mortgage finance company, have a patent on a device that would allow the government to turn off the energy in your home whenever they want to? The device is put into the outlets in your home and cannot be removed without a special device.
Love him or hate him, Glenn Beck and his staff have possibly uncovered something big with this..if cap-and-trade passes, this could be what is coming our way..Among those helping with this investigation is Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT)

What happens to those who have electric heat in their homes? This could force them out of their homes, and make those houses drop to zero in value. Just what obamaians want!!!!!
Right...
We’ll just throw another log into the wood stove...
Seriously, though - this is line-in-the-sand stuff.
They’ll never get in my house.
“cannot be removed without a special device”
Yeah, right!

high standards of the Obama adminsitration staying to course to create slums of every neighborhood in America except his.
Thanks! I have been looking for this so I can do my nightly million man emails. (grin)
Beck is a buffoon.
That works fine till you find that the government has put a moratorium on the regular outlets. Kinda like incandescent light bulbs.
They won’t disappear overnight but they will over time.
I’ll install a generator in my house before that day comes.
This is already done with thermostats. California and NC are two states that I know of that have it. You can’t get a permit for construction unless it uses a state-controlled thermostat. Maybe not all of each state, but it does exist. Part of the building codes.

...and what if he's right?
Neither can a .45 slug! Those ‘inserters’ had better be wearing BP vests and have the FBI packing heat for them!
Beck is right.
Gas too needs electric to run becasue most furnicases from the past decade no longer have a pilot light they have an electronic ignition. Guess we will have to be ready to turn the water off at the main and drain the lines to keep the plumbing from busting?
