This is the moment a white American police officer punches a teenage black girl in the face after a dispute about how she and her friend crossed the road. Video footage of Officer Ian Walsh lashing out at the 17-year-old in Seattle has shocked the U.S.
The teenager reels backwards in shock from the blow before clutching her face while a bystander can be heard asking: ‘Are you serious?’
Police arrested the girl, Angel Rosenthal, and her friend, 19-year-old Marilyn Ellen Levias, both of whom have criminal records. Seattle Police chiefs have launched an investigation into the alleged assault after viewing the video footage. Civil rights activists are outraged and say the punch was an action of anger not self-defence. The incident comes weeks after another two Seattle officers seen kicking a Hispanic robbery suspect who later turned out to be innocent. James Kelly, who heads the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle group, said of the police: ‘Shame on you. The use of violence in the form of a full-blown fist to the face was wrong.
‘What the 17-year-old did was wrong,’ he told ABC News. ‘I'm not making any excuses for her, but two wrongs don't make a right.’ And a woman with whom the 17-year-old lives echoed his statements.
‘She's not a criminal,’ the woman, who would not give her name, said as she waited for a juvenile court hearing for the teen yesterday. ‘She ran into a situation that maybe wasn't right, but two wrongs don't make a right.’

It would have been easier if the cop went after illegal aliens. The girls are guilty but I hope this jaywalking enforcement was worth the trouble he’s in now.

I hope not. I'm not sure the guy handled this in the best way possible, but anything that went wrong was the fault of these "ladies".
She took the first swing from what I heard reported. She did look like she could kick some tail and was a handful to try to control, but jaywalking, come on.
As far as my city goes, we could do with a huge cut to the police department. This same cop that is involved in this incident has the same mindset, maybe they are trained to have the mindset, that it is not their job to dive into a situation that could end with them being killed.
Example, Columbine, when the Chief of Police stated flat out that it is not a cops job to dive into a dangerous situation that puts his life at risk. Therefore there was no foul in their standing outside of the school listening to the gun shots of two demons killing off children inside the school.
As usual the media could be counted on not to point out that the target of these two trench coated killers were Christian believers.
So the only conclusion I can come to is if a cop won’t show his face until the blood is on the floor, he has no business punching a teenager in the face, that he would never enter a school to save from a killer, for her crime of jaywalking.
Either way, the FAR-LEFT, afro-centric, emotional, chip-on-their-shoulder crowd, including racist race-card playas, Jesse and Al, will complain NO MATTER WHAT.
They did not ‘unknowingly’ violate the law.
They were doing it on purpose, because they thought the officer was ‘busy’ and that they could get away with it and show their friends how ‘cool’ they were.
The were ‘shoving it’ in the officer’s face.
Much like racing through a construction zone because you see the radar cop already has someone pulled over. To hell with construction workers, show everyone how cool you are.

I have no problems with cops but I get pulled over way to often being a black man in the suburbs!

Can't do that. Seattle is a "sanctuary city" and if he reported an illegal alien to the authorities, or if he busts someone for being illegal he can be fired.

Sad but true... That intersection has a MAJOR problem with jaywalking as it is a pair of 5 lane major arterials intersecting at oblique angles, and it's right next to a school as well. It's an intersection that has a real problem when people jaywalk as it backs up the only two arterials through the Rainier Valley. It's a dangerous place, and with a big overpass there's no excuse to jaywalk.
Yeah. He should have let them go when they resisted and one girl started grabbing him.

More than guilty. They were DARING the officer to stop them. They did it right in front of him, because he was already ticketing someone else.
I will never understand why white people would live in - - let alone work in - - concentrated Democrat parasite nests (”cities”). Man, I avoid those urine-smelling, trash-blowing-down-the-street, step-over-the-homeless places like the plague, and that video is Exhibit One.

Maybe. No one knows what was in this cops head. Seattle cops have been getting loads of ink lately about racist commentary, and taking cheap shots at handcuffed suspects.
Judging by the girly punch he threw, I'm guessing he's used to hitting a restrained suspect.
