I'm hearing you, but please don't think you are the only one it's epidemic to every race. The cops lie as to why you are stopped, “Your turn signal isn't working”. Yet it is working.
They are taking the shot that they can find something to ticket you for, no insurance, no valid drivers license, outstanding warrants.

Anything to fill the almost bankrupt cities coffers. We are all going through it. But I'm not trying to take from the fact that they may feel they will have more success with stopping a black man that they feel might not have the money to meet all his driving obligations.

I once had a friend in the Secret Service, and I was saying how proud I was of our police department, this was years ago when I was young and dumb. He told me flat out how stupid that idea was. He said that if the cops were ordered to shoot everyone wearing a red shirt that they would gladly go out and carry out their orders and I would be naive to think otherwise.

I looked at him as if he had grown two heads, now with some of the things I have seen through the years, I just don't know anymore.

Get that tail light/license plate light/turn signal fixed! Seriously, have they stated seemingly legitimate reasons for the pullover, or do you believe you are truly being profiled?

If you are it is wrong; I've never had to walk in your shoes but I can imagine the aggravation.
