Hillary must be unaware of the 1807 law which forbids the USA from importing slaves ... It's called the Act Prohibiting Importation of Slaves of 1807. And of course the Civil War was fought, but the Democrats through their KKK terror wing, tried to keep slavery alive in America for decades since then.

Revisionist history, it's what Democrats do. I wonder what specifics she can cite. Is she talking about the illegals being exported by gangs operating in the USA? If so, she should turn them in.

Ahh, such stupidity.

The Left truly hates America. No, stupid, we aren’t a slave nation nor do we traffic in slavery. There is no official or unofficial sanction of the practice anywhere within our borders.

Yes there are incidents of criminal slavery by criminals. But by the same definition we are a nation of serial killers, cannibals, drug dealers, rapists, and people that record major league base ball games without the express written permission of the commissioner of baseball.

Just cause it happened here, doesn’t mean it is either accepted or the norm. Can’t her and her pantsuits just go away?

Am I wrong? Aren’t a lot of people held in slavery in the US done so by fellow countrymen who come first, do well, then send for young women with promises they have no intention of fulfilling?

Close the borders and this wouldn't happen nearly as often.

Most human trafficking involves smuggling them in.

I agree with Hillary.

The slaves are called: “Private sector tax payers”.

The major sources of trafficked persons include Thailand, China, Nigeria, Albania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine.

By that criterion, all nations are slave nations.

Secretary of State Clinton included the U.S. for the first time on the State Department’s list of nations “trafficking in persons” for forced labor ranging from farm workers to pole dancers and prostitutes."

A disgusting Clinton lie. This NATION is not engaged in trafficing of persons. There may be scum here that do, but as a NATION we are not. READ THE TEXT. While some NATIONS are involved in this disgusting practice, in MY country, the United States, we are not. Not yet.

It's virtual slavery she's talking about. A scenario you see in the news would be an oriental woman is told there is a job for her in America, typically clerical or restaurant, but when she gets here her passport is confiscated and she is presented a bill for her expenses, then forced to work in a brothel or "massage parlor." A variation of this is a gang will kidnap Mexican girls and force them to work as prostitutes in the US.

It's not just Hillary, the Bush Administration was working to combat this too.

Acorn here in National City, Ca, a few blocks from my home was busted for having under age prostitutes brought in from Mexico.....and right after my congressman Bob Filner D-51 voted to fund Acorn.. so I guess he is for under age child prostitution..

IF there is anyone in the USA held in ‘slavery”, Hillary, it is you!!

You should have booted that pervert you married to the curb years ago, instead of ‘standing by your man’ when he continued to be a total embarrassment.

Even a pole dancer would not stand for that kind of partner!!

This is GREAT!

. . . the annual report on nations who promote or permit the international trade in human beings for profit.

We now have a member of the administration going on record that they "permit" the international trade in human beings for profit!!! This should be brought up in every news conference from now on!!

As in: "Mr Gibbs when will the administration quit promoting and permitting the trade in human beings for profit as stated by Hillary Clinton and CLOSE THE BORDER?!"
