Rachel Corrie ignores Navy request to stop
SNIPPET: IDF warns Irish-owned vessel not to approach blockaded Gaza, invites activists to unload humanitarian aid at Ashdod Port. Sails organizers turn down offer. Palestinians: Vessel seized some 55 kilometers from Strip. Earlier, US official says vessel should sail to Ashdod in interest of safety

Can’t they just run it over with a bulldozer?

they are going to get it , and whose fault will it be ?
They should just shoot out the engines and leave it to drift.
Or maybe they could airlift one and drop it on the ship.
Have you seen this one yet? Use the bathroom first..... it is much too funny:

That was a well made crafty little production. Very good.
Careful, Ireland may send it’s Navy. ;-)
I say take the ship. Hold it for a year or two. Explain that the next ship will be taken, offloaded and sunk to start a reef.
>By contrast, the Rachel Corrie was carrying just 11 passengers, whose effort was mainly sponsored by the Free Gaza movement, a Cyprus-based group that has renounced violence.
Irish Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mairead Corrigan told The Associated Press from the ship Friday that the group would offer no resistance if Israeli forces came aboard.
“We will sit down,” she said in a telephone interview. “They will probably arrest us ... But there will be no resistance.”
Corrigan said the activists would “not be diverted anywhere else. We head to Gaza in order to deliver the humanitarian aid and to break the siege of Gaza.”>
Corrigan has been at this for a while:

“On 30 June 2009, Corrigan was taken into custody by the Israeli military along with twenty others, including former U.S. Congress member Cynthia McKinney. She was on board a small ferry carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip when Israel intercepted the vessel off the coast of Gaza. From an Israeli prison, she gave a lengthy interview with Democracy Now! using her cell phone,[8] and was deported on 7 July 2009 to Dublin”

One rocket was fired from Gaza Strip and landed in Western Negev region- no injuries or damages reported.
Earlier reports the ship had been borded were premature.
By about 7 a.m., troops still had not boarded the Rachel Corrie, when it was 40 kilometers from Gaza, said Free Gaza’s lawyer, Audrey Bomse. Shortly after, the Free Gaza office in Cyprus lost contact with the ship, Berlin said.
Maybe BP could use it to plug the leak?
Doncha think that, given other reports, this should be in breaking news?
Or sink it. Hope the people know how to swim.
That would make good use of it. ;o)
Note: This new thread here will cover all the flotillas. FYI.

Special Dispatch No.2999
“’Freedom Flotilla’ Organizer Bulent Yildirim at Hamas Rally in Gaza: ‘Anyone Who Does Not Stand Alongside Palestine... Will Be Toppled’; ‘Everything in the World... Is Progressing Towards Islam’; ‘What Can The Enemy Do To Me?... If They Kill Me That Is Martyrdom for the Sake of Allah... The Entire World Must Know That If They Do Not Lift the Embargo from Gaza, All the Muslims in the World Will March to Gaza’ (Archival)”
SNIPPET: “The following excerpts are from a speech given by IHH head Bulent Yildirim at a Hamas rally held in Gaza in February 2009. The rally was in support of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who stormed out of a debate on the Gaza war. The speech appeared on the Internet.”
Instead of Israel spending the money to deport these fanatics trying to break the embargo, they should just transport them and the “humanatarian aid” goods to Gaza and release them there. ....Let the idiots find their own way back home! .....Not so sure they would even be treated with a welcome, either, as HAMAS would now have more foreigners to house and feed!
