Obama, Proclaiming LGBT Pride Month, Pushes Repeal of Defense of Marriage Act Wednesday, June 02, 2010 By Jane McGrath
(CNSNews.com) - Citing his commitment to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), President Obama on Friday issued a proclamation declaring June 2010 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.
The president also emphasized his intention to secure adoption rights for same-sex couples and end both employment discrimination against LGBT individuals as well as the Dont Ask, Dont Tell (DADT) compromise that bars homosexuals from serving openly in the military.
This is the second year that President Obama has declared June LGBT Pride Month, but it is the first time he has used the proclamation to call for repeal of DOMA.
We see again president Obama trying to walk a tightrope on the marriage issue, said Peter Sprigg, a senior fellow with Family Research Council. Obama says we must give committed gay couples the same rights and responsibilities afforded to any married couple and repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, [but] he doesnt say right out that we should change the definition of marriage, Sprigg noted.

I would love to see God fry Obama to a smoking crisp right where he stands.

Amazing, don’t you think???
And your taxes are paying for the web site too !!!!!!!!!!!
What is an appropriate gift to give someone during this joyous time, a colostomy bag?
He has already decided that one term is it and is going full radical throttle before Congress turns.
Our dear homosexual POTUS does it again.
obama is a walking example of “symbolism over substance.”
They get a whole freaking month?
I think a more practical gift that would show everyone what the gay community is about is a bunch of anally-used condoms. (Yes I know they don’t actually USE condoms but you get the imagery.) Along with a few Hep-C and AIDS home tests.
Because this is much more important than the oil spill, Korea, the Middle East, employment, the economy, etc...
Amen to that! The faggot socialist commie pig 0bozo struck down by God and fried to a crisp. Ohhh well, if it doesn't happen in this lifetime, 0bozo will spend eternity raoasting in Hell.
Notice that the left-wing have no problem in repealing an act of Congress. Hopefully that willingness will backfire on these perverts big time. It is time to support candidates for Congress under the condition that they will support repeal not only of the healthcare bill in full but of all and any of this sick, perverted fascist legislation that the democrats pass.
They don't have it in the first place.
Like a whore proclaiming her virginity.
UPDATE 12/10/09 at 12:58 p.m. Central: Yes, this is the subject matter mentioned on Rush Limbaugh today.

There is a huge middle-class marriage penalty hidden in the House and Senate health care bills. The penalty becomes evident by evaluating questions like the following:
■How much would two single people, each making $30,000 per year, pay for private health insurance if the Pelosi bill was in effect now? The answer is $1,320 per year for both individuals combined (based on the premium limits and subsidies outlined on the charts on p. 3). ■But how much would they pay for the same level of insurance under the Pelosi bill if they were to marry? Their combined cost would then be about $12,000 a year (the estimated cost for private insurance).
This extraordinary penalty people will pay, should they marry, extends all the way from a two-person combined income of $58,280 to $86,640, a spread of $28,360. A large number of people fall within this spread. As premiums for private insurance escalate, as expected, the marriage penalty will become substantially larger.
Once the income of Americans exceeds 400% of the Federal Poverty Level, there are no limits on the premiums they can be charged, and their premiums are no longer subsidized. The poverty level is much higher for two people living unmarried as compared to the same two people being married. That is why citizens in many cases will pay far more for insurance if they are married. Why should married people be subjected to financial discrimination?
The Senate bill also creates a marriage penalty, in this case by imposing a new tax on individuals who make $200,000 annually but it also applies to married couples making $250,000 each year. This marriage tax on the affluent, however, is just the tip of the marriage penalty iceberg in the Senate bill.
The Senate bill stipulates that two unmarried people, 52 years of age, with private insurance and a combined income of $60,000, $30,000 each, will pay a combined cost of $2,483 for medical insurance. Should they marry, however, they will pay a combined cost of $11,666 for insurancea penalty of $9,183 for getting married (based on tables at:"

They're coming after the married folks to pay for Deathcare. That's where the money is.
A sequined collar for a gerbil?
I wish I'd thought of that, great line. And yes he is, he's decided to play to his communist/socialist base. Guess he knows he's a one term president, gonna do all he can in that one term. Sure hope the USA can survive Obama's one term.
There was a time when June was considered the primary heterosexual wedding month.
