Minutes after Obama came out and called for punishment of those responsible for the 'death and destruction' in the gulf BP, which was in the middle of cutting the broken riser pipe, stopped. One ROV was taken back to the surface, the cutting claw was removed from the broken riser pipe and now all camera views show no activity.
I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

Send the FBI in and arreest all of BP’s top brass and every engineer working on the project. That should get the leak solved in no time! /sarcasm
What dolts! I despise this administration more every day. It seems like I couldn’t despise them more than I do right now but I know it will be worse tomorrow!

BP should just walk away and publicly announce that it’s Obama’s baby now. See how the politics of that one works out.

I was watching the cutting on the live thread when the radio played Obama’s comments about forcefully going after the perpetrators. Minutes later the 47,000 lb shears that were crushing the riser pipe were opened up and pulled back to the surface. Anyone else see a pattern?

Simply brilliant. Now nothing is being done to stop the leak.
Holder, a box of rocks has more common sense than you and Obama combined.

I am sure a leader would have been working with, not against BP from day 1 of this disaster. There will be years to litigate. Grandstanding is the only language the petty dictators seem to have mastered. The agitator in chief has shown that that most any real job is above the pay grade of an illegitimate community organizer no matter what color he may be.

The only thing I can see as being illegal is collusion between the govt's reps and someone at BP.
Since the govt chick was fired...I'd call her "The Woman Who Knew Too Much"...
A bus won't work...she's going to Marcy Park.

This is very enlightened... real Stalinists would just declare BP personell as “wreckers” and “counter revolutionaries” and shoot them.

Everyday just gets worse and worse.
Does this level of incompetence just come naturally to them, or is it done deliberately?

Obama has given the green-light to have DOJ, the States, and liability lawyers bankrupt and dismember BP

Huh? I thought Holder was all tied up with the investigations of the Philly Black Panthers, the Sestak bribes, NYC terror trials, Islamic terrorism and jaywalkers?

BP is a private, non-government entity,
and is therefore, in the minds of fascists like 0bama and those he surrounds himself with,
“the enemy”.

The Obama administation has only two tools in their governing toolbox:
1. Spend more on government programs.
2. Take things to court.
Cooperation with private industry is not in the toolbox.
Using the courts to make a private industry into a government program is in the toolbox.

Obama and his lap dog Holder were under pressure to do something and it looks like they now have. Total idiots!
