17 States Now Filing Versions of Arizona's Immigration Bill SB 1070 (The Confederacy only had 14)

One of America's national organizations fighting against illegal immigration is announcing that 17 states are now filing versions of Arizona's SB 1070 law which is designed to help local police enforce America's existing immigration laws. Numerous national and local polls indicated that 60-81% of Americans support local police enforcing immigration laws.

"Our national network of activists have been working overtime trying to help the state of Arizona and the brave Arizonans who have passed this bill," said William Gheen, President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC. "Arizona no longer stands alone and we have now documented state lawmakers filing, or announcing they will file, versions of the Arizona bill in seventeen states! We will not stop until all states are protected from invasion as required by the US Constitution."

ALIPAC has documented the following 17 states are following Arizona's lead in response to citizen pressure.

in regards to MI’s immigration bill the ads have hit the radio already, as the bill is unconstitution. I have yet to see the bill myself, and it is viewed as unconstitutional, wait a dog gone minute this sounds like Arizona all over and the law is unread by politicians and the average Joe in the public has not even had a chance to read it. Before the ads and Obozo screams too much more what is AZ and MI impending law. Maybe in Mi we can keep out the socialists fleeing from Chicago, Illinois, there is another nation in of itself, opps that is emigration. Yes we need to keep those Canadians out of here. especially the Nigerian’s with a their undies in bunch over an expolsive device. since the federal laws are inadequate and the Obozo administration is about as useful as an outdoor molasses taffy pulling contest in the UP of MI in January.

There need to be MORE STATES than just Arizona which is being cut off, isolated, and placed on the ropes. Even one more additional state will make these boycotts and other forms of ganging up on law abiding states, useless and watered down.

I'm no expert, but I could understand 25-30 states getting on board.

I think the state legislature/state citizen attitude for immigration enforcement being similar to the attitude for non discretionary CCW permits, and I believe that is about 39 states now, so your number seems reasonable.

As it progresses, Zer0 will have to shut up or make enemies of the citizens and politicians in those states, and I don't think he CAN shut up.

As you look at the seventeen...there are another twelve southern states left off this list (Alabama and Mississippi, in particular). I suspect they are a bit slower on the draw...and by the end of the month...will be added. It just might reach thirty states by 4 July. In that case...immigration is virtually done for this year and the administration has lost it’s big “deal”.
