Chris Nelson, who's retiring after two terms as South Dakota's secretary of state to challenge Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-S.D.), gets asked by Kevin Woster whether he believes President Obama is a citizen of the United States. Nelson doesn't know.
[M]eeting the constitutional qualifications to be President is a very important issue. If President Obama isn’t constitutionally qualified, it would be the biggest scam ever perpetuated on the American people. MANY people contacted me as Secretary of State prior to and after the election asking how Obama could be on our ballot given this controversy. Absent a court finding that he isn’t a natural born citizen, we have to take the certification from the National Democratic Convention at face value.
Of course, most people have taken "at face value" Obama's certification of live birth from Hawaii, released by the campaign in 2008, as proof of where he was born. Interestingly, Nelson's less-well-established primary challengers don't take the bait, and blow off the question.

Yes, every damn last one of them. All who had knowledge of the scam, over looked it, or had anything to do with the cover-up... McCain included!
I recommend our new president, whomever she be, use some of the stimulus money for the “shovel ready” job of building a new wing at the United States Disciplinary Barracks, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to house every damn one of these traitors....once they’re found guilty, of course.
It's pointless for one reason: even if Obama were to hold a press conference tomorrow and admit he was born in Kenya IT WOULDN'T MAKE A DAMNED BIT OF DIFFERENCE! He's not going to be impeached....they'll just ignore it.
I'm as right-wing as they come, but good Lord this stuff is tedious. It doesn't matter. There's no end-game. I doubt it would even stop him from getting the nomination in 2012.
Beyond that, though, the people who are obsessed with this just look like tinfoil hatters. If they look like that to ME - and they do - I can't imagine how they look to the general apolitical masses.
Eye on the prize. There's an election this year. Let's take some of this energy being expended on this nonsense and elect some conservatives to Congress!

Hank, you’ve had your head too far up Arnold the pig’s butt if you think that the Constitution is a “pick and choose” document. Congress? What is that? Is that something in the Constitution or something? If it’s not in the Constitution, then what the hell is it? If the Constitution can be ignored in part, it can be ignored in whole. Get it?
Why the heck to they have to take it at face value? That is absolutely wrong. It should have been investigated.

To shift the responsibility/liability to the receiving end, of course, if the SoS is asleep enough or blatant enough to accept it. (Hawaii is the only state in the clear on this issue which is a friggin’ irony if I’ve ever seen one.)

Actually, his henchwomen have already slipped. The Hawaii Department of Health has already confirmed in 2 different ways, through official communications, that the Factcheck COLB is a forgery. The trouble is that nobody in government, media, or law enforcement gives a rip. Some of them have actually participated in the hoax and all of them have participated in the cover-up. That’s the condition this country is in.
That’s what people need to know. This really isn’t about Obama at all. It’s about the lawlessness in every entity that’s supposed to provide accountability in this nation. Without that accountability and without justice this nation falls apart.

The only reason it wouldn’t make a difference is because we have nobody in law enforcement who would arrest Obama for forgery, perjury, treason, and a whole host of other crimes that he and his mafia have committed.
Does that bug you at all? Do you honestly think that a nation where a person can blatantly commit crimes without ANYBODY in law enforcement batting an eyelash can survive - regardless of who is elected or what laws are made? A law makes absolutely no difference unless it is actually enforced.
You’re saying that Obama could openly admit that he committed all the above crimes and it wouldn’t matter. If you honestly believe that, you have to know that this country is already beyond saving. Is that what you’re saying?

The DNC submitted this certification to the state of Hawaii.
But this certification was submitted to the other 49 states without declaring Obama qualified for presidential office.
