It's pointless for one reason: even if Obama were to hold a press conference tomorrow and admit he was born in Kenya IT WOULDN'T MAKE A DAMNED BIT OF DIFFERENCE! He's not going to be impeached....they'll just ignore it.
I'm as right-wing as they come, but good Lord this stuff is tedious. It doesn't matter. There's no end-game. I doubt it would even stop him from getting the nomination in 2012.
Beyond that, though, the people who are obsessed with this just look like tinfoil hatters. If they look like that to ME - and they do - I can't imagine how they look to the general apolitical masses.

The only reason it wouldn’t make a difference is because we have nobody in law enforcement who would arrest Obama for forgery, perjury, treason, and a whole host of other crimes that he and his mafia have committed.
Does that bug you at all? Do you honestly think that a nation where a person can blatantly commit crimes without ANYBODY in law enforcement batting an eyelash can survive - regardless of who is elected or what laws are made? A law makes absolutely no difference unless it is actually enforced.
You’re saying that Obama could openly admit that he committed all the above crimes and it wouldn’t matter. If you honestly believe that, you have to know that this country is already beyond saving. Is that what you’re saying?

Hank, remember when the human race thought the world was flat? Can you imagine what sort of treatment ensued when someone said it was round? I don’t have to tell you what happened and just look at the rewards! It isn’t the “rounders” that look silly now.
There are two ways to get that bastard and everyone who enabled him plus reverse their nation-destroying legislation. #1. Prove he’s a fraud / not eligible for more than one reason, come up with such strong evidence that someone with standing will cooperate. You can stay on the sidelines and not do a thing to help and you will enjoy the rewards without the risk should any birthers succeed. #2. Use force and there won’t be any sidelines.
Keeping one’s eye on “the prize” of voting them out as the ONLY strategy may backfire badly and lead to the only option being #2 above. Where do you think all this is going if the election doesn’t happen? Voting them all out, btw, won’t get us out of some very repugnant commitments BO has gotten us into - at the U.N. for instance. How about 20 to 30 years of his SCOTUS appointments? Without eligibility, his signature is no good; his commitments on our behalf are null and void.
Oh, and there’s one more thing - a very important thing. The constitution has requirements that need to be met by a candidate for the presidency, the most powerful position in the world. Ignoring the fact that a bunch of traitors - an entire political party in fact - crapped all over that document is a very bad precedent and should not stand.
No one is asking you to be a birther, but you feel the need come and ridicule those who are. That’s a pretty flat-footed behavior on your part.
