Freep This Poll: Should MLB pull the 2011 All-Star Game out of Arizona?

Bud Selig would probably prefer to fly obliviously above the fray, but next year's All-Star Game at Chase Field has been thrust into the controversy over Arizona's new SB 1070 immigration law.

Because of the racial profiling aspects of the law, the Daily Kos has called for Selig to pull the Midsummer Classic and all of its associated revenue from the state.

So, too, has Change.org, which has created an online petition that will be sent to baseball executives and a Twitter hashtag #AZMLBB to focus the protest.

Bleepin' idiot throwing out the Daily Kos line. Doesn't matter whether you care about the All-Star Game or baseball at all, these idiots need to see that they are the ones out in left field.

Mildly amusing that the ‘poll’ pops open with the ‘yes’ box already marked.

Personally, I think the All-Star game should just be cancelled, period, since they attached the home field advantage for the WS to the winning team of the All-Star game.

Oh, for the love of Pete. I’ve never seen such hysteria in my life as I’ve seen over that Arizona law. You would think the world was coming to an end.

This poll needs Freeping badly.

The MSM is really pushing this, if the Republican base has a beef about something they ignore us.

I’ve never seen such hysteria in my life as I’ve seen over that Arizona law.

I'm trying to think of anything even comparable and not coming up with a thing - well, maybe Michael Jackson's death.

If Bud Selig and MLB are going to side with the Hispanic KKK groups and pull the All-Star Game.....I will not watch baseball.

Another Arizona illegal immigration poll. MLB related this time. I would bet the MLB will pull the game.

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

So why is the ‘Yes’ radio button pre-selected when you pull up the poll? Bias, ya think?
