A plan by Senate Democratic leaders to reform the nation’s immigrations laws ran into strong opposition from civil liberties defenders before lawmakers even unveiled it Thursday.

Democratic leaders have proposed requiring every worker in the nation to carry a national identification card with biometric information, such as a fingerprint, within the next six years, according to a draft of the measure.

We’ll they’re still children until they are 26.

They need to be monitored. Of course, rampant sex, alcohol and drug use aren’t a concern.

I think I was the one who started that. Ho hum, another bible prophecy coming true right before your eyes.

Revelation 13 (New International Version) Revelation 13
___________________________________________________________________

16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.

A worker ID card will do nothing for people working for cash, such as day-laborers and others. This card will also do nothing for drug smuggelers, murderers, narco terrorists and other assorted ner-do-wells.

We need boots on the ground.

“Why just workers? Seems like this would be a good idea for people on welfare too.”

Yet the RATS are just fine with people voting with no address, homeless, and no proof of ID, certain states (Wisconsin comes to mind) people vote numerous times from multiple addresses (the dorm ‘project’ at U of Wisconsin). Somethin’ stinks here. What about a green card, an ID card, employment VISA? Think the RATS will treat this topic fairly?

So the “workers,” i.e. slaves of the Fed Reserve and private banking cartel, will be eventually micro-chipped since we know the biometric IDs will fail.

The few of us left working in private business AND actually paying federal taxes (since nearly half are excused from that “privilege”) will continue to be hounded and harassed, while the lazy slackers and criminals do whatever they want. Oh and steal our money whichever way they can.

It’s time to start a new country.

I have seen 3 different versions of his, supposed, COLB. How can there be 3 equal but different versions of an official doc.?

sounds like “carrying papers” to me

What the dying lying lame stream media will not tell you is that Fed law already required every non-US citizen in this country to be "carrying their papers" even when out for a stroll.

AZ new law - "Myth No. 1: The law requires aliens to carry identification that they weren't already required to carry. Reality: On the contrary, the law simply penalizes aliens who fail to carry the registration documents that federal law already requires them to keep on their person. These federal crimes (8 United States Code Section 1304(a) or 1306(e)) have been around since 1940."
Arizona Immigration Law -- Myths and Fact Sheet (good to bookmark)

Use of green card as an identity card The card must be in the possession of the U.S. permanent resident at all times. This means that the permanent resident must have a currently valid card on the person at all times and be able to show it to a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services officer, if requested. Though aliens with permanent resident status are required to carry these identification cards, American citizens are not required to carry any citizenship identification.

Yeah, I think I’ll be an extra-upstanding citizen and voluntarily provide extra identifying information by imprinting the chip with my car’s tread pattern.

Then after that I’ll provide them with a record of how many guns I own and which calibers they are by shooting the card once with each one.

How about we demand that they be a requirement to vote.

Voting is about the only place in America in 2010 that you are not required to show ID. AND there is a good reason for that - RATS cheat and we all know they could not win elections honestly.

You can’t ask for federally documents from illegal aliens but you can force by law legally residing Americans to carry and show on request an ID card...THIS COUNTRY HAS GONE OFF A CLIFF!

This actually sounds like a good idea to me. I only have 25 people left in my 9:00 am A&P lecture and it still takes me 10 minutes to take roll because people do not get to class on time. I record the attendance on the computer in the classroom. Because I have already entered an “A” in the computer for someone who more than 10 minutes late, I have to remember to go back and change the “A” to a “T”. Since they can check their absences on the campus communication system, God forbid if I forget to correct the roll. They get upset because they have a absence listed for a day when they came to class, but it is their fault for not coming to class on time in the first place!

I have two words for the Democrats “F Them.”

Make people who are on welfare, food stamps, social security, Sect 8 housing vouchers, medical care prove they are Americans. IF not - they get nothing.

Oh and Gloria Estefan - go to h*ll.

Care to speculate what information requirements on the card will be added down the road after the card becomes mandatory?

Gun ownership? Political affiliation? There is really no limit to what could be put on a chip. And no limit to the imagination of the fascists in DC.

GUARANTEE: 5 years after the card is in force, the personal data requirements for the card will be a very long list.

“The university is using $75,000 in federal stimulus money to install the system, which will detect the ID cards students are carrying as they enter large classrooms.”

Wow, things have changed since I went to (and graduated from) college eons ago. No one gave a rat’s @$$ if I showed up for class. If I showed up for tests and passed them, that was it.

Remember, this was supposed to be part of Obamacare... You will need to present your Obamacare (TM) card to get care or to get a job (unless you are here illegally, are some sort of minority, or other “disadvantaged” group).
