A recent analysis by Roger Simon of PJTV Media maintains that Obama is showing signs of mental illness. A wide variety of commentators have observed that Obama displays severe narcissism. Obama is conceited, and he is demonstrating a serious disassociation from reality.
A recent case in point was Obama's bizarre and meandering 17-minute, 2,500-word answer to the simple question about how he could justify raising taxes for ObamaCare during a recession when citizens are already overtaxed. Obama's wildly inappropriate answer left the audience stunned and led commentator Charles Krauthammer to mockingly say, "I don't know why you are so surprised. It’s only nine times the length of the Gettysburg address, and after all Lincoln was answering an easier question, the higher purpose of the union and the soldiers who fell in battle."
This lapse of delusion occurred in front of a friendly audience. Overall, Barack Obama seems to be slipping into a slightly more delusional state these days.
On Monday, following his embarrassing answer on Saturday, Obama stopped by the Washington Nationals home opener to loft an effeminate toss toward home plate constituting the ceremonial first pitch. After this display, Obama was mucking it up in the press booth talking about his love of the Chicago White Sox. The announcers asked Obama which players he supported growing up a White Sox fan. After hemming and hawing for about 30 seconds, Obama responded that he grew up in Hawaii and was actually an A's fan. Again, he avoided mentioning any players by name. Obama seems to believe that he can say whatever he wants, and not reap the consequences or be forced to defend his empty assertions. Obama behaves in a manner so disconnected from reality that he is shocked when someone has the audacity to question him. Obama acts like his word is infallible.
In March of last year Obama was on “60 Minutes” with Steve Kroft. Throughout the interview as Kroft questioned about the economic downturn and people losing their life savings, Obama just kept laughing. A one point CBS’s Kroft stopped him and asked, “Are you punch drunk?" How will the American people react to seeing their president laugh off their predicament? Obama’s inappropriate laughter clearly demonstrated he has lost touch with the pain that people are feeling.
Obama portrays himself as the larger-than-life figure towering above the political fray. At the summit when Obama was pushing his health care package through Congress, he attempted to act as if he were the chief arbiter of truth. With petty insults, he slapped down what the Republicans proposed and audaciously claimed his was a “bipartisan bill.” Obama distorts the truth with such frequency that one must start to question if Obama even realizes he is lying or is so disassociated from the truth that he believes what he says.
A further example of Obama’s delusions of grandeur occurred when he gave himself a “good solid B plus.” Believing that his presidency was an above average success when America is hurting is absurd. Obama went so far as to claim that he would give himself an “A” once health care was passed. Obama is not living in the same reality as the rest of us.
As Charles Krauthammer wrote, “Not that Obama considers himself divine. (He sees himself as merely messianic, or, at worst, apostolic.) But he does position himself as hovering above mere mortals, mere country, to gaze benignly upon the darkling plain beneath him where ignorant armies clash by night, blind to the common humanity that only he can see."
Obama sees himself as the greatest man to be president in all time. He truly believes it when he said "we are the ones we have been waiting for," and "this is the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and the planet began to heal." He believes that he can do anything he pleases and the people will love him for it. Obama plans to radically transform this country and go down in history as, in his mind, the greatest ever. Obama is clearly disconnected from reality.
Obama is, according to Newt Gingrich, “potentially the most dangerous (president), because he so completely misunderstands reality.” Gingrich was referring to Obama’s inept and weak stance on missile defense amongst other things. Even Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Obama is an amateur; so much for wowing the world. Obama lives in an alternate universe where he treats our friends poorly and expects our enemies to change and become our friends. Here’s hoping that the voters help to connect this president back to reality in November.
I'm starting to think he doesn't believe in anyone being supreme over him. He is a marxist/socialist and, as such, really is atheistic concerning any god but himself. I think he really thinks HE is God. I don't "buy" anything he says - regardless of how good and nice it sounds - it's all fake and designed to accomplish his own political and historical ends. To me, that's even more dreadful than someone imagining a whole world submitted to "allah".

The belief that reality is a mental construct has always posed a puzzle to me which I have discussed with my o-o-o-ld friend, a UF professor and extreme intellectual Liberal, If reality is all in the mind of the thinker then is imperfection in relationships not a failure in the mind of the Liberal? Why must he act as if reality were reality and try to force everyone else to think the way he does? Why does he not merely construct his own reality in his head and go live there in his own Utopia? The prof just looks puzzled for a moment and then tells me I cannot understand because I have not sufficient education.
Well, you’re absolutely right. One of the key characteristics is an uncanny ability to mesmerize. This is why you are so dumbfounded when you hear of young women being charmed into a death trap. How could they be so foolish? Well, how could America have been so foolish. The guy has no record, no trail. He has done an extraordinary job of covering his tracks. That should have set off alarm bells right away. The ability to spot a psychopath is a matter of life and death. Learn the signs and don’t be one of the lambs led to slaughter.

Ed Schultz on Visiting White House: ‘Almost a Shrine’ - to Obama
Agreed, this doesn’t come as much of a shock. What’s surprising is that Schultz said “almost”.

SCHULTZ: First of all you walk into the White House, in the West Wing, and there are picture all over, I mean everywhere! Of President Obama! I mean, of his life in the first year as president of the United States. Now I don’t know if that’s the way it is with every president, but it was almost a shrine. I mean, well, here’s a picture of Obama the president with his kids over here. There he is getting on Air Force One. Here he is with some military people. Here he is on the line working the line at one of his campaign stops. I mean, just, it was just one picture after another! (laughs)
And so I got the message right away that there’s nothing but Obama fans in the White House which I think is a good thing. ‘Cause it’s always good to have the team together, right? (laughs)

Liberalism/moral relativity is internally inconsistent. Actually half of their beliefs nullify the other half.
That’s why they’re mentally ill.
If the midterms turn out as expected, and Zero is totally powerless. I think we may see for the 1st time ever, a President having a total breakdown in office. Don’t be surprised, he will not accept the enormous jolt of reality.

This article is a blunt analysis of Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., prepared by Dr. Jory F. Goodman, a psychiatrist, as described below. This is a pivotal point in American history, and what I hope is that Americans of all political beliefs come to realize that all of the force of a profoundly concerned citizenry has to come down on this man before he does irreversible damage and condemns the youth of America to a life we never thought could happen here.

Below is a comment submitted to the member’s section of Urgent Agenda by a psychiatrist who grew up in the same area that Obama created his base, and seems to me to pretty accurately reflect what we are seeing in Obama.
There have been many allusions to Obama’s incredible narcissism. indeed, many find it is more intense and apparent than that of Bill Clinton’s. And it is. Simultaneously, there have been innumerable observations about his defensiveness, surprise at being challenged, and lack of knowledge. Let me explain and interpret this for you.
First, be advised that I’m a psychiatrist with more than 30 years of experience. I practice in Beverly Hills. I grew up on the south side of Chicago in a neighborhood that later became Obama’s venue. I went to college at Northwestern at the inception of the affirmative action, equal opportunity adventure.
Obama’s educational experience parallels that of many of my classmates.
While we, the majority sweated through organic chemistry, physiology, graduate-level courses in literature, advanced composition, and tutorial reading with the late Prof. Bergen Evans, African-American classmates showed up at their leisure, sent for tests if they cared to, read none of the 15 novels in 10 weeks, submitted no papers whatever, and passed with flying colors.
They were never tested, criticized, graded, or .. heaven forbid, flunked. They were all literate as per the first definition in the dictionary –they could read and write. Most were illiterate by the second definition in the dictionary – they were not well read, knowledgeable, or people of letters.
All of this describes and defines Obama. He is functionally literate, not a man of letters or knowledge, of only average intellect, not insightful or curious, and without ever having been challenged. The narcissism and grandiosity engendered by his life experience is of monumental proportion.
Flavor this with Chicago politics. Few people wonder why Chicago politicians rarely succeed on the national level. Does the name Rostenkowski ring a bell? During my childhood our aldermen was an amiable lush named Nicholas Bohling.
He never put the arm on anybody. But if you needed the winter’s potholes in front of your house filled you dropped off a fifth of rye at his office. If you had a traffic ticket that you could not afford to fix on the scene (which means you did not have enough money in your wallet or pocket at the time to give to the police officer to “take to the court for you”) you dropped off two bottles of rye and a sealed envelope. Things were as efficient as Mussolini’s trains.
There was of course an underside to all of this. When a classmate’s father was late on some payments a couple of times (this with respect to his business which was not in Ald. Bohling’s territory, but was downtown, a restaurant with a back room gaming establishment) he went missing. His remains were found a few weeks later in a sewer. It is a mystery to this day how the police knew precisely which one of the several hundreds of thousands of sewers in Chicagoland to explore, but their expert sleuthing allowed the family to have a funeral.
Obama moved into the venue where he could not be challenged on any front. His fancy education made him brilliant and superior. His minister, his buddies (Dorn, Ayers) and his wife set the tone and ran interference. And of course, ultimately any critique or criticism was racist.
So you see how this man glided through life unmarred, unchallenged and unquestionable. His monumental omnipotence is matched only by his monumental ignorance.
He has never been confronted (What Michele has to say in private is unknown, of course, but not pertinent to the discussion either.) And so we see what we see – a pompous, self- absorbed narcissist who can speak of virtually nothing ad libitum. He needs a Teleprompter or surrogate.
And, if challenged or questioned or criticized, the shock and surprise in his eyes are sincere. He simply cannot believe it. This has never happened. It is not supposed to happen. It’s against the unwritten rules.
Equal opportunity, affirmative action folks cannot be tested, challenged, criticized or ever, ever be wrong.
And that is why, as he takes his health-care dog-and-pony show on the road he is absolutely rigid, and unyielding in what he wants. It is why he is so angry at being questioned or challenged.
It is why his surrogates have ceased to imply and begun to scream and bellow the charge of racism against any person, organization, reporter, commentator, handicapped person in a wheelchair, and so forth and so on ad nauseam. Racism, it’s racism. Not rational, honest, open, fair, democratic debate and discussion. It’s racism.
One final comment: Obama is not socialist, he is a communist. What is the difference? Look around. In countries that have socialist parties and have had socialist governments– Scandinavia and other parts of Western Europe — they engage in debate with other parties, negotiate, and lose elections without revolutions.
Communists never accept a loss as fair, will do anything to consolidate their power and control, and always follow the Marxist credo that the end justifies the means.
This portion of one of the paragraphs confirms what I have always believed: “... of only average intellect, ...”

Thanks for posting this picture - when I was reading the article - it was the first thing I thought of.
For the President of the United States to give the finger to a Congressperson is just beyond the pale in rudeness and arrogance.
We need to work on this. We should show up at Caligula’s events. When he starts to speak, we should start giggling and tittering. Then, it should be broad grins and progress to knee-slapping guffaws.
No heckling, just laughing. Just uproarious hilarity at all of his proposals.
Radio host Michael Savage has played old “canned laughter” (like was used on tv sitcoms) as commentary to O’s various proclamations. It was very effective.
