Counter Camera detects binoculars, cameras and rifle scopes pointing at you and even people staring

Current anti-sniper counter measures depend on the sight or sound of the initial shot, and by that time, it may be too late. Now a new device which uses the same “red-eye” effect of flash cameras and projects it hundreds of meters, can identify binoculars, sniper scopes, cameras and even human eyeballs that are staring at you. It is hence the first machine that can offer 24/7 warning that you are being watched or targeted, BEFORE a shot is fired.

The CS300K™ Long Range Counter Surveillance Camera is the brainchild of high tech surveillance equipment manufacturer JETprotect, and will be a welcome addition to the armory of those who currently spend a lot of money on trained guards watching CCTV monitors.

I guess you could use the thing that you use on a computer monitor to keep it safe from prying eyes.

A haze filter might not be as effective as a Killflash (which is pretty much designed for this purpose):

Flaw with this is when it lights up a scope the scope may be there to be lit up.

Exactly my thought. Lenses are cheap. A sniper could salt an area with hundreds of them.

Pretty cool but it also has to be pointed or looking in he direction of who might be doing the targeting. I’d be interested in the testing that was conducted and the environmentalsit was tested in.

"Exactly my thought. Lenses are cheap. A sniper could salt an area with hundreds of them."

Seems like a bit excessive to me. Perhaps just one and a trip wire connected to a claymore might be more effective.

If someone is a couple of hundred yards away scanning the area with this device where would you put the claymore? And since it is an optical device what would trip the tripwire?

“Who’s watching
Tell me, who’s watching
Who’s watching me

I’m just an average man
With an average life
I work from nine to five
Hey, hell, I pay the price
All I want is to be left alone
In my average home
But why do I always feel
Like I’m in the twilight zone

And (I always feel like)
(Somebody’s watching me)
And I have no privacy
Whooooa-oh-oh
(I always feel like)
(Somebody’s watching me)
Tell me, is it just a dream”

Rockwell

"where would you put the claymore?"

Put one a short distance from any one of the hundred you propose to set out. With all the moving around to set a hundred lenses, someone is sure to get curious and come looking for you.

Sounds like a radar detector that is so sensitive it goes off every three seconds, making it useless, for any practical purpose.

The first defeat that comes to mind would be a semi-transparent mirror at a slight angle right in front of the rifle scope.

My mother of blessed memory had a saying. True throughout history and even today. “Fata la leggie, fato il enganio” > there is an answer for every thing.

....... use killflash (sunguard) and mosquito netting to counter this crap....

Also using the shrink wrap plastic window home insulation kits that makes a window “look” closed and fools this device.

Somebody told me that.......
