In a press release just handed to Fox by the FBI, the six Michigan residents, two from Ohio, one from Indiana are charged with “seditious conspiracy.”
Reportedly, Hutaree is accused of attempted use of weapons of mass destruction. Charges range from August 2008 to today. The militia group Hutaree are said to have conspired to oppose by force the authority of the US Government.
The members viewed local, state and federal law enforcement as "the brotherhood," also known as their enemy, and have been preparing, the FBI says, to engage them in armed conflict.
According to one plan released by the FBI, the group was to kill a law enforcement officer, then during the funeral precession, hit again with IEDs to kill more LEOs.

I am. Just because the Obama administration is making a big hoo-ha about their latest enemy doesn’t mean these aren’t really bad dudes.
In fact, it would be pretty standard for thugs like the Obama administration to find a very unpopular and unsavory group and overinflate their threat.
They want headlines like “Right Wing Violence?”
Much lower-hanging fruit with animal rights wackos, but you won’t see them as a target.

If they act like Muslim terrorists, there is nothing Christian nor patriotic about this group. There's a whole lot of "if's" attached to this story, quoting anonymous sources, and CAIR and SPLC are at the center of it fanning the flames.

Making a hoax bomb threat is a crime of violence. I kid you not, looked it up when that Ashton Lundeby kid was sent to prison.

Is there even a charge of Sedition still on the books? They come and go.
Treason is written in our constitution. That is siding with the enemy in a time of war.
I oppose sedition in our nation. I also know that there are countless organizations on the Left that seek seditious overthrow of our form of government and are never charged even when they riot in the cause of sedition.

Sounds to me like this entire case is based on an informant who told the Feds exactly what they wanted him to say.

My guess is the feds have infiltrated almost all such groups, going back before Obama was in office. --
If not infiltrated, under covert surveillance. You can bet that all communications by these yokels is monitored.

Something doesn't smell right. If they were planning on doing this then fine, arrest them all. Their "doctrine" however doesn't support this behavior...
Why weren't these places raided?

These folks, as I’ve stated,
were “easily vilified”.
Next step, play up the “Christian” angle so that the next Christian group targeted is guilty by association.
Anyone watch “V”? They used the same tactic with the doctors.

Im not buying this.Me neither. They sound more like left wing anarchists if this "story" is correct. Why go after police officers?
Criminals and gangs aren't right wing, so why refer to them as a militia?
If anything, I smell a little left wing spin here. Lately, the left has been going berserk - shooting people and flying planes into buildings and such.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Fox speculated that the online videos may have help alert officials about the group. No doubt. The time of freedom online is over. Should be a lesson to all of us. FR is no doubt being monitored as well.

One of the Hutaree members called a Michigan militia leader for assistance Saturday after federal agents had already began their raid, Lackomar said, but the militia member -- who is of Islamic decent and had heard about the threats -- declined to offer help. That Michigan militia leader is now working with federal officials to provide information on the Hutaree member for the investigation, Lackomar said Sunday. from Detroit News

Never let a good crisis go unused. I would guess there are a few work groups figuring how to blame this on Pali, Beck, Limbaugh and the health care critics.

Now, if you’re sitting around with your buds and you say, “Damn, I’d love to blow up that hateful mosque” and the Man is listening in, and you’ve got your rifle in your lap, does that constitute “crime of violence in possession of a firearm?”

Obama ok’ed the hit because no Muslims or blacks involved?
Otherwise, cracking down on terrorism = going after Christian Conservative whites in Obama’s world of pro-terror associates?
