Charlie Crist Gets Owned(!) by Rubio on Fox Debate - Now
Fox News ^
Posted on 03/28/2010 6:16:00 AM PDT by quesney
Live now on Fox
Rubio is framing the contrast very well. Excellent debate and criticism of Florida Governor Christie's support of the stimulus plan.
Rubio: "We need someone who can stand up to Obama"
Rubio on partisanship: "Lower the corporate tax, lower thwe capital gains tax, reduce the obstacles that make it increasingly hard to do business in America, and I'll be happy to cooperate....but what the Obama administration is attempting to do is fundamentally change America, and we can not cooperate on that."

A yankee liberal democrat filed and took over the Tea Party name. He is trying to hijack the party by making confusing people to support his group monetarily. Its pissing people off, but he did it legally. This is the group that Charlie Crist was talking about today. It was totally setup by chicago Dem operatives."Took over the Tea Party name"... do you mean just in Florida, or for the entire US?
Sounds like that phoney "Tea Party" candiate Scott Ashjian in Nevada, who is running against Harry Reid. If enough people are confused, they WILL split the vote. I think that's what largely happened in the infamous NY-23 race.

Yeah, I realized that Crist was in smear mode but, as I wrote, I just don’t know Florida politics. I do like what I see of Rubio though. I think he has the right angle of attack....hammer the issues.

It was amazing to see a man who defends what he would vote for and thinks he would win in this day and age.In all fairness, if Crist had started espousing conservative principles today, we would all be calling him a flip flop.

WTH is going on with some Florida Tea Party groups who aren't warming up to Marco Rubio??? Beats me as the contrast between the two couldn't be more obvious. When you think of a typical pol, Crist fits the bill.
Waited to watch the rerun at 2:00 p.m. and it was interrupted by Obama's speech in Afganistan so I clicked it off IMMEDIATELY. Catching up on what I missed now.

Crist is like the 1950s-—a throwback.

I had made a commitment to be a volunteer for Rubio at the Sarasota County Fair!
The response was fantastic....people buying MARCO tee shirts & bumper stickers.
One Dem (she didn't want to change her registration) told me that she would vote for him in November.

Hey friend! Interesting your post landed here at 357! And we all know 357 was sitting on the couch watching the toasting of Crist with us! :)
Crist said, “The choice is clear”
And we Floridians know it's Marco Rubio!

Charlie Crist was PATHETIC in that debate today. He looked like a scripted, phony politician. He offered no solutions to the problems, only attacks against Rubio's finances
The only thing that was perfectly clear about CHARLIE CRIST, HE LIKES JOHN MCCAIN AND BARACK OBAMA.

Chris (Wallace) said they had looked at all Crist's campaign sites and literature and they couldn't find any mention of SOCIAL SECURITY!!!! The state with the oldest voters and Crist doesn't want to talk about SS?!!!!
That's a good point. That fact needs to be broadly publicized. Maybe suggest to the Rubio Campaign to make that an issue.

“We saw that question supposedly from a Tea Party leader and scratched our heads.
Weve been to dozens of Tea Parties across the State and have NEVER heard of her, not once.
Plus, Ive yet to go to a single Tea Party or 9-12 event where Rubio isnt fully supported.
Florida conservatives are in unison, that was Fox pulling some fast one.”
Right, and we need a little investigative work on that one! I didn't catch the name of the “so called FL tea party leader. How much you want to bet her friends are Doug Guetzloe, Fredric O’Neal and Nicholas Egoroff?
Another little tidbit from the UCF Arena yesterday....Seems Glenn Beck promoted the name of Peg Dunmire as a Florida “Tea Party Party” candidate running against Grayson! So there goes Glenn mentioning a Guetzloe, O’Neal and Egoroff “special candidate”! Guess Glenn didn't have his research team check that candidate out!
WE FLORIDA PATRIOTS WHO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WILL PUT AN END TO THAT WHEN WE ELECT DAN FANELLI ON AUGUST 24TH TO SEND GRAYSON PACKING IN NOVEMBER!
Freepers, Please help Lt.Comd.Dan Fanelli with a donation if you can. You know what he is up against with the Grayson Socialist Machine! Check Dan Fanelli out at the link below and find out why he is the best constitutional conservative to face Grayson!http://electdan2010.com/

One viewer question pointed out that Crist had run for FIVE Statewide offices in 12 Years.....he has not even finished his first term as Governor.
Crist responded that he is running for U.S. Senate because our country has a lot of problems and he "loves his country and his State..." Huh?.....o.k...........whatever!
