Is McCain involved? Count me out. He is an evil tritor. I doubt McCain will be there.

As for Reid, he’s scheduled Saturday morning to attend an official opening of a shooting park in Clark County and at night a dinner in Las Vegas where former Vice President Al Gore is speaking.

You never know, Juan could be there to defend “His Good Friend Across the Aisle”. Or to scold the Tea Partiers for speaking badly about dingy harry.

Hoping Sarah is done with helping Mclame.

“Is this a Tea Party event or a Palin-McCain event?”

Haven’t you heard? They’re the same thing/s

Don’t wish to argue...we agree on Sarah being great. Just know that she doesn’t support OTHER RINOS so, common sense dictates her reason for backing McCain in his race is based on something OTHER than listening to the RINOS in DC. I’ve made my peace with her reasons. It is strictly due to her McCain connection, number one, what he did for her, and her respect and support in return, and second, her honest belief that McCain does stand for SOME of the same things she does. And when you look at it from her viewpoint, McCain does do so.

Sarah actually worked with Democrats in AK. She actually went against her own party when she thought they were wrong. McCain does have a record of anti-earmarks, anti-backroom deals, anti-big spending. He has been a thorn in the side of many in DC, in more ways than merely bugging Conservatives for joining with Dems ala Lindsey Graham.

Since it was McCain who reached out to her, and not the other way around, when she accepted McCain’s offer to go on his ticket, she pretty well had decided they had enough in common. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. In her heart I’m sure she knows that. But Sarah is such a positive, can-do person, she chose to go with what she had and turn it into what she has turned it into.

She also calls him an American Hero. Repeatedly. His service to country and in the hellhole of Hanoi as POW is obviously part of this. He has sons currently serving. Her son is currently serving.

Life isn’t perfect.

I wish this aspect of what is happening today wasn’t happening. But I will accept it in the sense that I believe she’s doing the best she can with the hand she has been dealt.

A McCain-Palin event would have McCain there, and McCain will be nowhere near there. By definition.

“McCain will be nowhere near there.”

That’s wierd because I recently heard how he pretty much embodies all that is the tea party movemnet.

This is good advice. I am reposting penelopsire’s post

“God Bless you all. Have fun and watch out for SEIU provacatuers, etc. hiding in the crowd to try to make us look bad. Photograph and tape everything. If someone does something provacative, try to get their names and/or put a tail on them and follow them to their cars(to get their license number).

GOD BLESS THE TEA PARTY PATRIOTS IN SEARCHLIGHT TODAY!

we know the media will look for ways to portray us as crazed racist and dangerous so be on the look out for staged acts.

Thank you for being there

McCain wants Harry gone. He loves what Sarah is doing with the Searchlight Tea Party. His immediate problem is the challenge from within for his own Senate seat. He doesn’t want to be gone at the same time Harry goes. He wants to remain and repeal/replace the awful legislation that was just rammed through. There has been a sea change. McCain wants to be a Tea Partier. (Some people don’t recognize the seeds of Conservative victory even when they’re growing like giant beanstalks...)

It isn’t weird at all that McCain would not go there for this event. What’s weird is a grumpy FReeper suggesting he would be there, for one second. Just to mess things up on the thread to support the Tea Partiers. Now I’m off from here until later. Will try to watch on the boob tube. All you FReepers who are going, I love you guys!

McCain wants to push amnesty through just as soon as he’s re-elected, unless the Obama administration has beat him to it.

WOO HOO! Neil Cavuto has been providing us with live coverage from the Tea Party in Searchlight (he breaks into his show from time to time - FNC reporter Casey Stiegel is there).

God bless all Tea Partiers in Searchlight and in Henderson today! We are with you in spirit.

We'll see you in a few weeks on the east coast! We plan to attend the Tea Party Express rally in DC on April 15th, and we'll try to make it to Boston the day before...

McCain gave us McCain-Feingold which gave the Democrats power over Congress and the White House. You lost your country thanks to MCCain and his boss Soros.

How McCain gave Islamic terrorists Constitutional Rights. The end result is judges are releasing terrorists thanks to McCain.
http://article.nationalreview.com/429488/the-mark-of-mccain/andrew-c-mccarthy

“That is what Senator Graham did in 2005. Along with Sen. John McCain and other grandstanding Republicans, he gave cover to the Left’s “torture” demagoguery by spearheading enactment of the McCain Amendment. Under the rubric of “cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment,” that provision vested alien enemies held overseas with constitutional rights against coercive interrogation.”
