A terrible thing happened to America on Sunday, March 21, 2010.
The country took its biggest step ever down a road diametrically opposed to its original intent of keeping the state small so that the individual can be free and great.
Therefore, in this unprecedented crisis of values, this is what needs to be done:
1. Know and teach America's core values.
We got to this point solely because over the past few generations, Americans have forgotten the values that have made America distinctive and great. Even the "Greatest Generation" failed to communicate them.
In a nutshell, they are what I call the American Trinity: "In God we trust," "Liberty" and "E Pluribus Unum." The left has successfully made war on all three -- substituting secularism for God and religion in as much of American life as possible; substituting equality (of result) for liberty; and multiculturalism is the opposite of "E Pluribus Unum."
People who do not understand American ideals -- especially small government -- now dominate our schools, our entertainment media and our news media.

2. Recognize that we are fighting the left, not liberals.
Conservatives and centrists are no longer fighting liberals. We are fighting the left.
Liberalism believed in American exceptionalism; the left not only does not believe in it, the left opposes it. President Obama, when asked if he believes in American exceptionalism, replied, "I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism, and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism."
Liberalism believed in creating wealth; the left is interested in redistributing it.
Liberalism believed in a strong defense. The left believes in cutting defense and a strong United Nations.
3. Democrats should be referred to as Social Democrats. This is not meant to be cute, let alone as a slur. But calling Democrats Social Democrats is an effective way of reminding Americans that there is no longer any difference between what is now known as the Democratic Party and the Social Democratic parties of Europe. When the Democratic Party returns to its roots as a liberal, not a left-wing, party, we will happily resume calling the party by its original name. However, since no Democrat can cite a significant difference between the Democratic Party and the SD parties, there is no good reason not to use the more accurate nomenclature.
4. Work tirelessly to repeal the bill.
We must single-mindedly work to repeal the government health plan. We all know that it is difficult to repeal entitlements because they are like drugs and it is very difficult to wean people off drugs. But it is not impossible. We need to warn our fellow Americans that entitlements will do to America what drugs eventually do to addicts.
All Republicans must run for office on the "repeal" issue. Even when they lose, the difference between right and left, between Republicans and Social Democrats will have been made clear; and clarity is our best friend.
5. Our motto: "The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen."
I used this phrase in addressing the Republican members of Congress. It has become widely used, including by Rep. David Dreier, R-Calif., on the House floor during the Congressional debate on Sunday. It encapsulates this epic battle of American values versus leftist values. Every movement needs a motto. I nominate this.
6. Do not let other matters distract.
Neither Republicans nor conservatives are united on every issue facing America. Immigration is one example. But we are united on the big government vs. free individual issue, which, more than anything else, has defined America. If we allow any other domestic issue to divide us, we will lose.
And here's why: If Americans forget what America stands for, it won't help us if there is not one illegal immigrant here. And if we do remember what it means to be American, we can handle anything.
7. Acknowledge that we are in a non-violent civil war.
I write the words "civil war" with an ache in my heart. But we are in one.
Thank God this civil war is non-violent. But the fact is that the left and the rest of the country share almost no values. The American value system and the leftist value system are irreconcilable. If the left wins, America's values lose. If American values prevail, the left loses.
After Sunday's vote, for the first time in American history, one could no longer confidently believe that the American system will prevail. And if we don't fight for it, we don't deserve it.

I would like the abolition of Social Security. It is an abomination. The government has no right to force me to do something with money (becasue I’m too stupid to do the right thing). It is morally wrong. What makes FDR smarter than me? It is repellant.
It is also a lie and a failure. It is the poster child, the patient zero, of the whole infrastructure of socialism. From that small seed grows the whole tree.
“Well golly, if the government’s gonna pay me when I’m old and take care of making sure I can retire, what’s wrong with ‘em running the insurance companies”.
As a thought exercise, what combinations of elections do you believe will lift the evil, socialist, unconstitutional weight of Social Security off my shoulders? 2010? 2012? Sarah Palin gonna’ get rid of that?
Just curious. Because I’ve about given up on elections fixing anything at this point, but I’d love to be convinced otherwise.
I have a question. I honestly do not want to comply but how does one go about doing this when (a) the federal government has the right to take funds directly from your bank accounts without your prior knowledge and permission and (b)the IRS will come for you with guns pointed?
Critical mass? There will be no "majority" that will support such a thing. Just like in the 1700's, it'll be less than 10% fighting against tyranny.

The NEA, and the teachers unions. Most public school boards are ex NEA, or union personnel. They control who gets hired, and the curriculum.

Of course they do! Then they will have an excuse to declare martial law. “For the good of the country, of course.” We must not forget that those of us who are Christian, oppose abortion and illegal immigration, have conservative bumper stickers on our cars (I didn’t know bumper stickers were violent!), and own guns are now considered “domestic terrorists.”

This DHS memo came out last April. It’s been a year and things have only gotten worse. I have been saying since the last election that I wouldn’t be surprised if martial law were declared before November so that the Treasonous, Traitorous Congress cannot be voted out. We’ve all wondered why they would vote on something guaranteed to make them lose in November. What if they were promised there would be no elections? They could vote for Obamacare with impunity, knowing they would never have to leave Congress.
The Ruby Ridge affair had to be settled fast,

1) Move your money, stocks and bonds offshore. I did this 2 weeks after Obama won the election. Billions of private dollars are leaving the USA every week.

No they aren’t. Not yet. The first time they do this, war will break out. If you don’t leave a bunch of money in a local bank, what are they going to grab?

I learned this by age 18. I turned 56 today ;-)
I kind of knew things would be in peril a few years ago in 2005 when I saw how the left was attacking George w. Bush and conservatives. In fact, last year when I joined this site I was predicting a civil war of sorts that was coming.
I saw problems coming long before they came. I was 100% right about Obama. While I was not on this particular site on November 2008, one the site I was on I stated that dangerous things would happen over the next four years that would lead this country into strife and open conflict.
I knew that Obama was dangerous when he was a senator. I knew that the left was anti-american. I saw this.
Been trying to tone it down and not advocating for open rebellion. But at these times, anything is possible.
Obama is everything I feared and said to people I knew and sites I was on back in 2007 and 2008.
In Fact, way back in 2000, I told people that the election results from that year highlighted a deep divide in America that will not be fixed because the people running the Democrats want it that way.
That election set the stage for deep hatred of the left to Bush and the rise of Obama and these Anti-Americans.
The people in the bluest of states are being hoodwinked. A have drank the kool-aid.
SO if we can’t win at the ballot box and if we can’t roll back any changes and if we can’t do things peacefully.
What do you think is going to happen? Americans will not sit quietly ans watch the country go to Socialism.
This is also exactly what Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush LImbaugh tried to warn others in 2008. But nobody listened for Obama still won.
I'm still waiting for you to name ONE. Claiming the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact fell "without a shot" is absurd to the point of asinine! What were all those tracers I saw at the assault of the russian "white house" ... fireworks?

Lets start the November elections early - Nationwide Recall elections!
We live in a 2A ISD and we have succeeded in getting all but one liberal off the school board. The rat superintendent was also run off, because of ethics violations.
We are working on getting 100% conservatives on the city council. The mayor is recruiting strong conservatives for all positions. The libs are PO'ed.
Let me know when you actually do something ok.
