We live in a 2A ISD and we have succeeded in getting all but one liberal off the school board. The rat superintendent was also run off, because of ethics violations.
We are working on getting 100% conservatives on the city council. The mayor is recruiting strong conservatives for all positions. The libs are PO'ed.

The REAL problem is that most conservative parents think that they can overcome the leftist indoctrination from the public schools by teaching conservatism in the home. Most may be right, but what about the REST of the students??
FYI for all you none Texans. Texas schools are classed for "competition" (alethics, music, etc) into 5 classes, with some sub classes for some purposed.
The categories are 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A, and A. I always thought it was kind of silly. but I guess no one wanted to be a class 5 or a "D" school. (Where I went to school we did have letters, A, B, C, D, having dropped the silly multiple A's thing back around WW-II I think).
Anyway, 5A is the largest, 1A the smallest. A 2A district is not large. Which probably means it's a very good school. ISD == "Independent School District", with kindergarten through 12th grade, as distinguished from a kindergarten through 8th grade district that must send it's high schools students to another district. :)
