Vandals strike AZ congresswoman's Tucson office

PHOENIX (AP) -- Authorities say the Tucson, Ariz., congressional office of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was vandalized a few hours after the House vote overhauling the nation's health care system.

Someone either kicked or shot out a glass door and side window of the office early Monday, but it did not appear that anyone entered the office.

Authorities are looking into whether a pellet gun was used.

As a somewhat unruly and surly individual in my teens (I decided to avoid the Christmas rush and become a curmudgeon right out of the gate), I can attest to the fact that a good .177 Crossman pump pistol can administer a crapload of hurt to mercury vapor street lamps, plate glass storefront windows, and automotive windshields.
