File this under 'you never thought it would happen in America.'
The Senate healthcare bill that is scheduled to be 'deemed as passed' by the House of Representatives Sunday afternoon, H.R. 3590, mandates the Internel Revenue Service as the enforcement arm of Barack Obama's dictate that all Americans be covered by health insurance.
The IRS will be empowered to check every month to ensure that every American meets Obama's dictated health insurance standards.
The IRS is also empowered to levy fines on those not in compliance. Under existing federal law, refusal to follow the rules of the IRS can lead to imprisonment--or worse.
An analysis released yesterday by Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee estimates that 16,500 IRS agents will need to be hired to meet the expanded authority granted the IRS.
The nine page .PDF document details how the IRS will become the new overlord of the American people. A new section of the IRS code, 5000A, would be created by the bill. Americans would be required to maintain insurance deemed acceptable by the secretaries of the Treasury and Health and Human Services. Failure to do so would result in enforcement fines levied by the IRS in the hundreds or thousands of dollars depending on the income of the offender. The fines would be known as the Indivdiual Mandate Tax. The report adds that the IRS could add interest and penalties for failure to pay the IMT.
Health insurance providers would be required to file reports with the IRS on each individual they insure. The IRS would be able to share confidential taxpayer information with Health and Human Services.
According to the report, exemptions to the IMT dictate would be granted by Obama to approved groups and individuals for the following reasons: religious conscience, members of a health care sharing ministry, those below the poverty line, members of Indian tribes, incarcerated individuals and illegal aliens.
Under this bill, every American would be forced to answer to Barack Obama. If they fail to submit to his will, they will be fined, imprisoned or worse.

I'm ready to be the first person jailed for failure to comply with this healthcare BS. Seriously.
They have more than just shotguns. I have it from a very good source that they have some of the same MP5K machine guns that the BATF and Department of Labor have.
Is there a history of the DoE and the IRS buying shotguns?
So...will IRS employees be the people who make sure that the money I earn be taken away from me to pay their own salaries, retirement and cadillac healthcare plan?
Yes, we must be Gandalf on the bridge and stop Balrog Obama.
It’s becoming more and more Outrageous.. I hear ya though! I’ll have to get someone to take care of my dog!
I know, but its still outrageous.
Isn't it wonderful how the gov’t wants to “look out for us”?
RUSH, BECK et all should get this out to everyone - it should wake up a whole new layer of people.
and I wonder how many people realize that you will be billed, not according to your coverage, but your income. So you and you neighbor will have the same coverage, but if you make more - you will pay more for yours.
How does that fit under the equal representation laws?
But just the beefing up of the Gestapo arm - the IRS - of the gov’t JUST for this ONE bill should scare the bejeebers out of people.
It certainly shows they KNOW that when people finally see what this is and how it will affect them, there's going to be trouble.
Hitler and Stalin have turned green in graves with envy.
Yet, states can’t or won’t pull the licenses and immediately impound the vehicls of those caught not carrying car insurance.
It’s getting to the lock and load point.
I think I’ll become Amish.
We need to close down the IRS.. Not give them more power! God Help US Unite Against this Tyranny!
I’ll take care of your beautiful dog — you’ll have to fly him to the South, but he/she is welcome in my home.
The IRS is contracted with several vendors to obtain various specialized weapons and covert surveillance materials. Please see: http://www.treas.gov/sba/irssic.htmlFor example, Remington Model 11-87 Shotguns (a $200,000 contract) are a special model made exclusively for the IRS, holding 8 cartridges instead of the normal legal limit of 3.
This page also documents contracts for equipment and services such as:
* Clock/Radio Audio Video Transmitters; $200,000; General Microwave Service, Inc.
* Semi-automatic Handguns; $1,000,000; Sigarms, Inc.
* Subminiature Audio Recorders & Playback Units; $1,000,000; Nagra USA
* Purchase and Support of Data Encryption Radios; $50,000,000; Motorola, Inc.Why does Congress allow the IRS to arm so many of its agents so heavily against American citizens? Is it really necessary for the IRS to spy on American citizens? Is this part of the IRS reform legislation that was recently passed to make the IRS more responsive to taxpayers? These IRS related problems and the increasing pressure to squeeze Americans -- and their freedoms -- by moving to the National Retail Sales Tax! Instead of attempting to intimidate and strong arm Americans with intrusive and abusive tactics -- all of which increase the growing gap between citizens and "their" (allegedly) government), those 110,000 IRS employees could get REAL jobs. Guarding our southern border springs to mind.
Ping.
I don't know what these agents would make, I'll just throw out $80K. That's $1,320,000,000, or $1.3 Billion. Not counting all the FedGov bennies.
The Dept. of Ed. RFP mandates a particular model for “compatibility with existing inventory”.
