Please see post number 2.
My poor baby dog is 16 and can’t travel.. not even in the car.. so, yeah.. I’ll have to get a house/dog sitter.. Finding one who isn’t a Lib will be hard since most all Patriots will be in jail! ;)
14 feet? That's an artillery piece!

"Tell them to send out my attack dogs....they will be taught... the hard way."
So did “someone” give you a real nice clock radio?
Not during this time of bad economy. Tomorrow there will be a MASSIVE rally in D.C., which means MANY and I MANY are fit to be tied. So it would not surprise me if my prediction DOES come true.
When push comes to shove I think we will be the Vast Majority.. A lot of Lefties are getting ticked off at all the power grabbing.
Well, after they see what will happen to their paychecks, will SHOCK em’ into reality.
They are asking for a LOT OF TROUBLE.
Yeah, it’s really, really cool ... AM, FM, three different alarm tones, selectable display colors, 12- and 24-hour display option, and plays CDs, too!
We already have mandatory health insurance here in Massachusetts. Compliance is administered through the Commonwealth's Department of Revenue. One is required to file a certificate of insurance with his annual state tax return.
The only exemption I know of is for religious reasons. If you claim the religious exemption, you must also certify that you have not received any medical treatment in the last year. If you have received treatment, and still wish to claim the religious exemption, you need approval from some bureaucrat who administers the health insurance program.
I'm retired, so cannot rely on an employer to provide coverage. The least expensive insurance approved by the Commonwealth would increase my living expenses by 12.5%. It's far more than I normally would spend on actual health care itself. I don't need this product. The only insurance it would make sense for me to buy is for catastrophic events. (BTW, that's what insurance is supposed to be for; the packages approved by the Commonwealth are actually health maintenance contracts.) I'm told that actually paying my own bills out of pocket rather than buying insurance is irresponsible.
I'm also Catholic. I object to being forced to buy into a system which would use my payments to cover other people's abortions, contraception, sterilization, IVF, embrionic stem cell treatments, etc. - all things the Catholic Church condemns as immoral. So I claim the religious exemption, and do without medical treatment of any kind. I sincerely doubt the Commonwealth would approve of my particular form of religious objection to their mandatory scheme; it was probably intented for Christian Scientists and Jehovah's Witnesses.
If you want to know what 0bamacare is going to be like, just look to Massachusetts ... and tremble.
But keep in mind that if you refuse to pay taxes to whichever governmental entity enforces the particular program imposed upon you, they have the authority to simple reach into your bank account and take the funds anyway, with interest and penalties. So, as the Borg would say, "Resistance is futile."
The Massachusetts plan was actually based on proposals put forth by the supposedly conservative Heritage Foundation. How did our country ever come to this?
I think the better analogy is with Social Security and Medicare. They were introduced sometime after the income tax, and are also withheld from wages.
Perhaps someone knows the history. Was there significant civil disobedience when these government-mandated social welfare programs were introduced?
In any event, though, we know the results - both programs are with us today, with payments for them on the rise, and promised services being reduced.
That is still not a reason for a government agent to be in possession of a shotgun. This is purely evidence of their evil intentions.
Amen!
However, it will not be the military that is shooting civilians,
it will be the militarIZED police forces,
and those who will do so will be those who joined such forces
in order to legally stomp faces.
The ones that won’t stomp faces will be replaced by those who will.
