Are you saying the RECONCILIATION ITSELF is 2300 pages long?
That there are 2300 pages of CHANGES to the 2300-page Senate bill?
Are they nuts? (Of course they are nuts).

Who the hell knows anymore? This whole thing is a travesty and a monstrosity.

Nice catch. Aside from the obvious, that's also the camel's nose in the door for the generalized medicalization of political dissent, just the way the Soviets used to treat political dissidents. After all, political dissidents are unhappy people, so they're not living "healthy living" and therefore require compulsory behavioural changes - B.F. Skinner-style - in order to make them "happy and therefore healthy."
This passes, and sooner rather than later, we all of us on this forum will be cooped up in the Barack Obama Institute for the Cure of Political Psychopathology. No doubt the liberals will have rediscovered the "virtues" of massive electroshock therapy by then.

If the public option is actually back, that could be a sign that they don’t have the votes.
Or, it could be a cynical attempt to get the votes. There are some who won’t vote because there is no public option. This might be an attempt to buy their votes, even though they KNOW the public option won’t make it through the senate.

Brevity is the soul of wit or something like that. I could write one in one paragraph.

Just read part of the bill.
IT HAS A PUBLIC INSURANCE OPTION.
that means they are going to ram it through the House,
then HAVE to reconcile it with 50 + biden votes.
Good luck with that!!!
No SEnate only bill??????
I SMELL A BLAME THE REPUBLICANS BECAUSE I COULDN”T GET IT
THROUGH SENATE. strategy.

Are you sure?
I think this is the Senate bill that needs to be prepared for reconciliation by Spratt's committee.
There's hardly any mention of student loans (and it's mainly medical students).

Americas Affordable Health Choices Act
Three big lies, right in the title: it’s not America’s, it’s not affordable, and it is designed to get rid of choices.
It actually has 4—has nothing to do with Health—has everything to do with power.

wait....if the public option is in, then this isn’t the bill passed by the Senate, which means it can’t go straight to the president’s desk. Right?
