More than a year after President George W. Bush left the White House, some people are getting a little sentimental about him.
Several weeks ago, a billboard popped up in Minnesota featuring a cheery picture of Bush smiling and waving, next to the phrase "Miss me yet?"

Yes, I miss him. Although he may have spent like a Democrat, he nevertheless kept our country safe, believed in values and morals, wasn’t passionately in love with himself, and he spoke like a human being (mistakes and all) instead of a professional campaigner with self-promotion to the point of deity. He also, most importantly, believed in the Constitution of the United States as well as in the people of the United States.
The paper is actually the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, oft-referred to as the StartleGram. Now owned by the questionable McClatchy outfit from California, it used to be a good source for news when the colorful Amon Carter owned it.
Do you miss President Bush?
* Yes. I agree with the "Miss Me Yet?" campaign.
* No. It was time for a change.
No other options.
When they put it that way, yeah, I guess I do kind of miss Bush.
I couldn’t answer the poll for that very reason. El Presidente Boooosh!
I miss Ronald Reagan even more!
Are you happy with the change you have inflicted on the rest of us?
Obama has more than tripled GW spending spree in 14 months with no end in sight. Hence the Tea Party movement is alive and well.
Although born in New Haven, he was raised here and was instilled with Texan values. I hope to see him some day on his bike since that's one of my recreations, too.
President Bush Bump!
Agreed, 2 very poor choices for that poll.

Raise your glass to the hard working people
Let’s drink to the uncounted heads
Let’s think of the wavering millions
Who need leading but get gamblers instead
Spare a thought for the stay-at-home voter
His empty eyes gaze at strange beauty shows
And a parade of the gray suited grafters
A choice of cancer or polio
"cause he's been replaced by a Marxist and a Marxist coup is not what this country needed.
I understand your thoughts since they parallel mine.
But everything is relative....so I miss Bush-43 only relative to Obama.
I voted and its 67 yes 33 no. The DUmpster will discover it though and their fellow moonbats will run it up and ruin it.
Well putting up with Obama makes me miss Clinton.
I dream of a Reagan White House and an overwhelmingly conservative majority congress for both terms. People would wonder why we ever let the socialist screw up the country and economy, not to mention all the generations of Americans, as they have since FDR? Wilson?
It's bad now, but it's only been a year and a half. There are serious consequences coming for what obama, Reid and Pelousy and the rest have been doing here and abroad and will do.
So you would prefer the slow, gradual descent into Socialism rather than a sudden shock?
