SNIPPET: "The South Jersey man who Yemini officials are calling a terrorist with links to al-Qaeda previously worked at three local nuclear power plants.

Sharif Mobley, 26, is being held in a jail in Yemen after he allegedly killed a police guard and seriously injured another during a shootout at a hospital on Monday.

The Buena, N.J. native has also been accused of taking part in several acts of terrorism, Yemini officials say. He also purportedly has ties to the same branch of al-Qaeda who are suspected of attempting to blow up a U.S. airliner on its way to Detroit on Christmas."

SNIPPET: "Former high school classmate Roman Castro says Mobley was always fiercely religious and tried to convert high school friends to Islam.

Castro says he ran into Mobley during an Army tour in Iraq around four years ago. The two had a short exchange, with Mobley telling him to "Get the hell away from me, you Muslim killer," according to Castro.

A former neighbor said Mobley moved to Yemen two years ago to study Islam."

SNIPPET: “Albasha said Mobley was arrested last week during a sweep of al-Qaeda operatives with close ties to an Alabama-born extremist based in Somalia, Abu Mansour, known as “the American,” and the group al-Shabaab, or “the Youth.”

The FBI has been tracking young Somali American men who have allegedly joined al-Shabaab in Somalia; at least 14 from the Minneapolis area have been indicted on terrorism charges.”

SAN’A, Yemen (AP) - The Nigerian suspected of trying to bring down a U.S. airliner with explosives might have used Arabic studies as a pretext for entering Yemen before disappearing for months, perhaps into one of the lawless country’s al-Qaida strongholds, fellow students and teachers said.

Interviews with staff and students at the Institute for the Arabic Language this week have revealed that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was frequently absent from classes and spent at most one month at the school in Yemen’s capital, San’a, starting in late August before vanishing.

Authorities say he didn’t leave the country until December and that his whereabouts during that period remains a mystery.

I search for a local news outlet and found one from Vineland NJ with a 5 page article. Unlike the national outlets claiming he was US born this one says

"... Sharif Mobley -- a 26-year-old Somali-born U.S. citizen"

As someone who has lived the better part of his life in this area of the country I can tell you from first hand experience that we've got more to worry about than just Arabs and the occasional nut bag Jihadi Jane. There are a boat load of radicalized Black Muslims that slither through our inner cities hell bent on America's destruction. Many are ex-cons who get radicalized in prisons. The mosques are crawling with them. They are a major national security problem right in our midst that is being out right ignored by this administration, and for that matter, the last one as well.
