Yes, fascinating and scarey. What have they got up their sleeves? It’s almost like they don’t think there will be elections.
Darn, and earlier today I had read that the Republicans said the Senate parliamentarian threw up a hurdle to congressional Democrats plans to pass changes to U.S. health-care legislation through a process called reconciliation...
Thought something effective had happened.
LOL
Yes, and there were many who would not drink they kool-aid so they were shot instead.
W. The. F is going on?
Tyranny. Abrogation of the US Constitution, and a deaf ear turned to the clear will of The People.
Plain and simple, and in our faces.
Crystal.
"All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills. Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States;... But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively"
I don't know what they are going to wind up calling this thing, but if it raises revenue despite originating in the Senate, and if it is not passed by the House by determining the yeas and Nays, with the names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill being entered in the journal of the House, then it isn't a Bill and it therefore cannot become a law.
The nit is really about to hit the grit. The Democrats, both in this arena and in their attempt to legislate a change in the House without an Amendment by seating a "Member of Congress" not from a state are trying to overthrow the Constitution.
They must not be allowed to get away with it.
You may be right about about that. I hope so. I work in a big city government and you know how that is, libtards all. Lately there appears to be a lot of uncertainty.
No, there's one other thing that could stop this in its tracks. That would be several hundred thousand angry Americans with pitchforks, tar & feathers, and nooses, screaming bloody murder up on Capitol Hill.
.
The democrats Socialists will try to use unconstitutional procedures somehow -
That's been my personal motto for the last quarter century.
“How about making it an invisible bill too? Prez can sign with invisible pen...”
LOL - that’s about where this is at...MORONS!
“BTW you make some good cookies in Ripon.”
Cookie Daze!

“The democrats left a long time ago. What we have here are socialists and outright communists.
Anybody on our side who cant admit this fact... is one of THEM!!!”
or just plain stupid.
.
They just keep getting wilder and wilder
Closed door secret Town Hall on OmommieCare in St Louis - only 400 invited union members
Over 2,200 at a Tea Party organized at the drop of a hat
I read about both of them.
Think they only expected a few hundred conservatives at the town hall and thought I read they had 1800. May have been more than one or the count may have grown larger.
“They BELIEVE (as fervently as we believe in a balanced budget) that National Healthcare is in the nations best interest.”
Totally disagree with that portion of your post only. The RATS aka Socialists don’t believe, nor try to do what is best for this Nation ever. They do what is best for their interests only. To Hell with this Nation is their attitude, and that is where they are taking us. To the source of their existance.
indeed
Drudge had an article this afternoon that said that the Senate parliamentarian ruled that this method was illegal and could not be done, that the bill must be voted on intact and signed by the President before any changes can be made.
.
- The democrats are deathly afraid of any more open “Town Hall” meetings with voters
- How they plan to do this for the soon upcoming Nov 2010 midterm election campaigns will be interesting
- I believe they will also attempt to rig the audiences of any campiagn debates or simply refuse to debate challengers for their Congressional seats
