Five Wisconsin residents have been charged with criminal counts of voter fraud in the November 2008 general election, state Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced today.
Two of those charged, Maria Miles and Kevin Clancy, are workers for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), the embattled community group.
"The complaint alleges that Miles and Clancy submitted multiple voter registration applications for the same individuals, and also were part of a scheme in which they and other (special registration deputies) registered each other to vote multiple times in order to meet voter registration quotas imposed by ACORN," Van Hollen states in the release.
Also charged were a couple accused of double voting - once absentee and once at the polls - and a felon who cast a ballot even though he was still on probation for a felony offense.
The charges were brought as part of the Milwaukee Election Fraud Task Force.
Van Hollen's announcement comes the same day that No Quarter disclosed that the Milwaukee County prosecutor for election fraud accused Milwaukee police of sitting on their hands and failing to investigate such cases for the first half of last year.
The prosecutor, Bruce Landgraf, said the Milwaukee Police Department began looking at election fraud cases "at the same time when the Department of Justice (Division of Criminal Investigation) stepped up to start the work that MPD should have commenced immediately after your referral."
The e-mail was written to a city election official. Van Hollen oversees the state Department of Justice.

Ping.
Why hasn’t he charge ACORN as a RICO outfit.
The ZERO will not be pleased..............
ACORN should have stuck with trafficing in illegal alien child prostitutes - that’s what they’re good at and no one files charges.
I’m liking Van Hollen more and more every day.
I support the death penalty upon conviction for conspiracy to steal an election (goes beyond simple vote fraud).
The FEC’s laws don’t carry enough bite as the Rats continue to steal votes and they do so in orchestrated large scale.
According to his criminal complaint, Henderson was on an active period of probation for felony convictions, but registered to vote and eventually voted in the November 4th, 2008 election.
A person on probation for a felony is not allowed to vote in Wisconsin.
Each individual charge could bring a sentence of three-and-a-half years in prison if convicted
They were better with David Lee Roth.
The complaint alleges Clancy was deputized on June 10, 2008 to register voters. Copies of voter registration applications show he registered himself to vote on June 11, 2008. On June 19 he allegedly registered twice more, each time with a different special registration deputy. He also allegedly took a duplicate voter registration from Miles, and he and Miles allegedly registered the same voter on the same day.
This is obviously no relation to the weasel Van Hollen who heads up the DCCC. What a creep that moron is.
Ok, lets just for the sake of argument say that someone submits 100’s of fake registrations to vote to basically rob an organization like ACORN of money it has set aside to register people to vote...
How is this a bad thing?
Registering does not = voting.
Acorn wasted money paying for people to be registered that don't exist and never will vote.
What am I missing here?
FReep mail me if you want on/off the list.
And the MSM is all weweed up that James and Hanna wore different clothes and edited their news package.....
ACORN “Eruption” in G Flat.
