This is sorta the way I was thinking when Dole was running against Clinton. I thought it would be ironic if the first baby boomer prez was displaced by a severely wounded WWII vet. Of course Dole did not run a good campaign, did not run on solid conservative planks, and he did not send the boy willie packing.

Of course Dole, even old, was more handsome than Clinton when viewed objectively.
