[Eileen] Filler-Corn . . . received endorsements from Jim Brady, represented Handgun Control, Inc., and served as the vice-president and legislative chairman of the Northern Virginia chapter of the Million Mom March. . . . Filler-Corn declared: "Every person is at risk from a citizen carrying guns in malls, movie theaters, restaurants and on highways."

She looks as crazy as that runaway bride.

"I always wondered what happened to Jennifer Wilbanks, the Georgia 'runaway bride'." Is it just me or does that pic look like she might just go for your throat at any second like a Romero Zombie feasting on fresh brains?

This should be a winnable race for us. It was drawn for a Republican at the start of the decade, and the candidate currently running, Kerry Bolognese, lost by just 208 votes in November to the Dem incumbent, David Marsden (who unfortunately just won the Cuccinelli seat in the special).

The Republican is running an energized campaign. A tiny fraction of the electorate will show up to vote. I hope it will be more than the NEA and municipal employees or we won’t stand a chance.

At least there would be a silver lining to Marsden winning the Senate senate.

It was more paramount to have held Cuccinelli’s seat, though.

Indeed. It’s a lot better to be one seat away from control than 2.

Quite so, except we’re 3 seats away from control of the VA Senate.

“...branch dividians and weavers were PC kills...”
Good point, Gilbo. And they’d spent MONTHS with their media diapers covering their asses for them, demonizing these folks, and building it up.
Evil people gravitate towards the reins of power so they can have the trappings of “authority” and “the law” to do what they do.
And they do it largely because decent people just...turn away and do nothing.

Moonbat lamewad Eileen Filler-Corn (what a name she’s full of something allright) apparently won by 40 some votes.
Why are people so stupid?
Was McDonnell there stumping for the Republican?
