These are just a few examples from the last two days.
You'll also notice the (once again) packed straw poll at CPAC, and a sudden surge in Freepers attacking Sarah Palin at every turn.
It seems the push is already at full force. Mitt Romney is the guy to beat, like it or not (remember that McCain enjoyed -5% support at FR during the campaign), and the GOP is circling the wagons early this time.
Add to that several weekend columns out-of-nowhere attacking Sarah Palin again (George Will, Dorothy Rabinowitz, Kathleen Parker, et al).
let there be no doubt, the organized effort is afoot.
Just look at how the media has concentrated on Sarah Palin versus John Edwards. Edwards is a lunatic and the media ignored and continues to virtually ignore Edwards’ massive character flaws - he is a complete mess. That being said, the media destroyed Romney too - I remember the bias, the articles, the way the commentators “decided” who won debates, etc. The entire dog and pony show of politics in this country is disgusting.
Obama and his administration have been sooo bad and have governed from so far left a position that it has frightened the American people - that is the only reason conservatives stand a chance in 2010 and 2012. I read several papers every day and the liberal press continues the lie.
I’ll vote for real conservatives up and down the ticket and write in Palin if Romney wins.

You forgot Giuliani, who was supposed to be a shoe in. I agree, Romney will not be the nominee, he is done he just hasn’t admitted it yet.

I like Sarah Palin a lot. If she continues to endorse absolute trainwrecks for office (McCain, Rand Paul) I will have no choice but to decide that she does not have the judgement to be POTUS and look elsewhere.

As I said earlier, conservatives felt that way about Reagan in 1980 and his campaign was almost toast going into NH. Don't underestimate the task ahead. There isn't near the unanimity among conservatives now as there was then.
Read Craig Shirley's book on Reagan's wilderness years and the 1980 campaign. The dejavu factor is eerie. :)

I’m preparing my life and future for there not to be.
You know, that’s really distasteful. The Mormons I have known have been some of the kindest people I have ever run across. They really are true Americans and love this country dearly.
Also, from a social standpoint, they are probably the most socially conservative religious group in the country besides the Amish.
Change your tagline to
“I’m for Romney”
Because Palin is the only one who can defeat Romney.
