PALIN HITTING OBAMA ON SINKING US-JAPAN RELATIONS BIG HIT IN JAPAN MEDIA (My Translation from Tokyo)
Jiji Wire Services Press (in Japanese) ^ | 7 February 2010 | AmericanInTokyo

Posted on 02/07/2010 3:30:26 AM PST by AmericanInTokyo

Sarah Palin's knock 'em out of the ballpark Nashville Address last night is already causing major tidal waves on thie other side of the Pacific Ocean.

In her Tea Party address, Gov. Palin took the Obama Administration to serious task over plummeting US-Japan relations. She specifically mentioned that Japan is the KEY AMERICAN ALLY IN THE PACIFIC and clearly crossed swords with Barack Obama over his treatment of this critical bilateral tie.

Anyone who knows the Japanese media will know that when Japan is specifically talked about by name and particularly by a major US leader, ears perk up and the presses run. Below is my rough translation of went out throughout Japan to all media outlets via the Japanese version of AP Wire, "Jiji Press". Media is already starting to pick it up. YAHOO!Japan is playing it as a top news story, tagged "New!", same headline and Jiji disptach. CNN Japan running story, too, but they cannot get their facts straight. They refer to the Tea Party as a "Conservative GOP Organization"(sic). At any rate, I suspect the story will play in hard copy major national circulation dailies tomorrow our time (Monday) her in Tokyo.

Domo Arigato AIT. ( Maybe we can get the Japanese to contribute money to the Republican campaign in our US election the way that Muslims do for the left, using international pre paid credit cards.)

Is the Super Bowl over? Never saw it.

Going on right now. 15 seconds left in the 1st half. Colts 10, Saints 3, Saints pushing for a TD.

Thanks for the update!

You know, LucyJo, the thing is....many Americans these days, particularly younger people (ironicall, because they will be the most hit with the bill) and no shortage of mentally-oppressed-by-liberals minorities, actually want SOCIALISM.

That is the unfortunate, cold facts.

However, those who do NOT want this scourage outnumber them and have largely been silent over many years. There are just millions upon millions of them. Obama is a Euro Socialist. He is so out of tune with the heart and soul of this nation and that is what is becoming apparant, the Great Gap I call it, which the news media tried to artificially sew up during the election through lies and lack of truthful, full reporting about Obama. However the People have now awoken up in great numbers and will do so in even increasing numbers over the next few months, which IMHO is going to make the Obama-ites and all their various sycophants and toadies feel like they have been to a three-day, non-stop Annual Prune Juice Festival in Central California.

Dont get me started on that. ;-) (THAT ought to freak out some liberal lurkers on this thread).

Actually, to the extent that laws are not broken, I think many Americans overseas who are in good financial positions, who have every right to donate to presidential campaigns, are by and large going to be so upset with the tax way Obama starts to handle them, that it encompasses a great donation base for Sarah Palin and is fertile territory for a harvest to be reaped IMHO. No foreigner or foreign company can donate to American campaigns, and I dont advise it, but non-monetary aid by them can be given such as positive press reporting, etc.

Many people are praying daily, that the tyrant Obama be confounded in both is actions and his lips, that he makes tactical errors and gaffes one after the other. This is legitimate prayer in my opinion.

IMHO, if we continue to trust in God, keep our powder dry, maintain a sense of humor about it all, keep humble and appreciative and the like as our numbers and strength grows, I am sure those things can be arranged by Providence.

Obama is a Euro Socialist.

I would actually describe him more as an African colonial.

Thanks, for all you do.

I wonder if the Japanese will start to resent the criticism over the Toyota car troubles as well and maybe feel less inclined to cooperate with Obama on anything?

I agree. But, those who didn’t know better are getting a first hand education in what it means to be an American. It is transpiring before their very eyes. They have been fed the Socialist pap all of their lives, but, as you said, this grassroots movement is gaining momentum because people who do know the difference, and who care about the difference, have finally realized that it is “do or die” time.

The people are going to hear the other side whether or not the Left wants it to happen. It reminds me a bit of the awakening and transition from Carter’s “malaise” to Reagan’s can do spirit of American exceptionalism and patriotism. Most people want to feel good about themselves and their country, and Reagan’s enthusiasm was contagious.
Sarah is a lot like that about America.

Obama offered his spiel on “hope and change”, but it wasn’t based on truth, and it is ringing mighty hollow right now.

People aren’t only ready for change, they are going to see to it that it happens, and it AIN’T the kind of change Obama has been preachin’.

LOL. (Prune Juice Festival) That bunch is so full of it that it’s gonna be dangerous to be close to them when that starts happening.
