Sarah Palin's knock 'em out of the ballpark Nashville Address last night is already causing major tidal waves on thie other side of the Pacific Ocean.
In her Tea Party address, Gov. Palin took the Obama Administration to serious task over plummeting US-Japan relations. She specifically mentioned that Japan is the KEY AMERICAN ALLY IN THE PACIFIC and clearly crossed swords with Barack Obama over his treatment of this critical bilateral tie.
Anyone who knows the Japanese media will know that when Japan is specifically talked about by name and particularly by a major US leader, ears perk up and the presses run. Below is my rough translation of went out throughout Japan to all media outlets via the Japanese version of AP Wire, "Jiji Press". Media is already starting to pick it up. YAHOO!Japan is playing it as a top news story, tagged "New!", same headline and Jiji disptach. CNN Japan running story, too, but they cannot get their facts straight. They refer to the Tea Party as a "Conservative GOP Organization"(sic). At any rate, I suspect the story will play in hard copy major national circulation dailies tomorrow our time (Monday) her in Tokyo.
LOL. I don’t think I can raise $2 million, but I could give it a try. I now know I can make phone calls via computer, which is wonderful.
Were Sarah Palin to run, I would do whatever I could. And I do believe that, by 2012, we are going to have a better crop of congresscritters in place than we do now, which would be an enormous help.
Is it too much to hope for Sarah Palin: Live From Buddokan?
I wonder how Sarah’s speech was reported in England, France and Europe?
Great post and news
Thanks!
I will bet that there is a place for him in her Administration.
If anybody can clean out the self-aggrandizing, elitist, anti-American cess pool that our State Department has become, it would be Bolton.
At any rate, JIJI PRESS Wire Service here today (February 8th, a.m.) in Japan (fed to all Japanese newspapers and major news outlets, TV stations, website for common reader, etc., is now running with this one from about an hour ago:
米大統領選出馬に意欲=前アラスカ州知事 2月8日8時5分配信 時事通信 【ワシントン時事】2008年の米大統領選で共和党の副大統領候補だったサラ・ペイリン前アラスカ州知事は7日、フォックスニュース・ドット・コムとのインタビューで、12年の大統領選について、米国のために正しいと判断すれば出馬したいと言明した。
Essentially the header is "Former Alaska Governor Palin Expresses Her Intent to Enter The 2012 Presidential Race", and goes on to say that Gov. Palin expressed it in an interview with Fox News.com, that if it is the right choice for the USA, she would be a candidate against Obama. It went on to say that she said the fellow had been in office for one year and even with that she "would put her credentials and experience up against him anyday." (End My Translation)

She said if it was thr right decision and the right decision for her family, she would run.
So she mentions Japan once and now they’re going to follow her.
That is cool.
Great stuff we would never know!
Chicka-Boom, Chicka-Boom, doncha just luv it?!?!
LOL!
One thing is for certain - she sees everything that is better for this country a lot more clearly than Obama, from her front porch or anywhere else.
Nope, Super Bowl not over yet.
Thanks for the updates. It’s great to see Palin building her international awareness and credibility.
She is becoming a force.
