DINOSAUR SPECIES VANISH!

Dinosaur Species Vanish!

The dinosaurs above have been considered three species. But a new analysis of fossil skulls led by the University of Montana suggests they're different life stages of P. wyomingensis, whose horns disappear and dome head grows over time. The find fuels speculation that up to a third of recognized dinosaur species are in fact juvenile forms of other specicies.

All you would have to do is to look at the eyes.

..up to a third of recognized dinosaur species are in fact juvenile forms of other specicies.

That wouldn't surprize me.

"That wouldn't surprise me. "

A lot of these non species have the names of their discoverers?

Does "publish or perish" have anything to do with it?

New species = new grants?

I’m really concerned about this. I’m not sure why. But, I’m concerned! I think they were all dragons and have been dead for a relatively short time...

Great idea! I could use a bit of economic stimulus right about now! How about $50 billion or so to study dragon morphing!

*shrug*

Means nothing in the entirety of TToE.

Good to see that science is keeping science on its toes. If this bears out then it provides important information to TToE and yet more tools to analyze the natural record.

At least science is honest in how it applies its own methodology against the data available.

They do look like dragons — very cool.

We have species that date back millions of years with little change, it would be interesting to see others that are rarely seen.

"This looks like a reasonable conclusion. "

When I first moved into my new digs in this desert I found a small familiar looking large lizard in the back.

For a few minutes I dreamt of the fame and glory of having discovered "The Bruinbirdman Estate Specific Gila Monster".

Upon further reflection I remembered I wanted to landscape the backyard.

Even as a little kid, I remember wondering about that.
